The essence of the enlightening discourses delivered by The SPH: " Discourses are decoration of words to form philosophies. There is no point in telling people to 'Be good', 'Be spiritual' etc. One needs to teach them how to be so. The technique to help convert these words into experience for man is what is Tantra. It is a meditation technique given by Lord Shiva to Easwari, His consort..."
" Man can fall under any of the three categories namely Tamasic, Rajasic and Satvic. To be Tamasic is to be lazy and lethargic; to be Rajasic is to be restless and doing work all the time; to be Satvic is to do work continuously but feel undisturbed peace inside us. Meditation goes a long way in making us Satvic..."
"Desires are of two types. Certain desires are very clear to us and we consciously work towards fulfilling them. Certain desires are unclear and hence we do not achieve them. The unclear desires surface as dreams because they are in the sub-conscious level inside us. We need to bring them to the conscious level to make them clear desires and then we can easily fulfil them. Meditation helps in bringing them to the conscious level. What he failed to achieve was his unclear desire that is 'True Happiness' or 'Bliss'!..."
On the 28th of October, The SPH's discourses on Bhagavan Ramana Maharishi's teachings under the title "Ramanarin Atma Viththai" were released by Swami Ramanananda Saraswati (Former President of Ramana Ashram and Bhagavan Ramana's biological brother's son.)
