November 27, 2023 - KAILASA Celebrates the Eleventh Day of the Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Brahmotsavam - Conclusory Rituals

On the eleventh day of the Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Brahmotsavam, the concluding rituals, known as Uttarangam, commence to bring a serene closure to ten days of vibrant celebrations dedicated to Paramashiva.

The significant event of this day is the Svapradakshina, where the deity of Bhagavan Arunachaleshwara Paramashiva in KAILASA Tiruvannamalai is ceremoniously taken around the sacred Arunachala hill. This sacred circumambulation of the Arunachala Hill on the Girivilam bath is undertaken by millions during full moons and holds profound spiritual significance.

Giripradakshina, a divine pilgrimage detailed in the Arunachala Mahatmyam, bestows abundant blessings upon its participants, a tradition annually observed by Paramashiva Himself after gracing the Brahmotsavam.

The SPH Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam, in His childhood, regularly undertook this sacred practice, further emphasizing its spiritual significance.
