The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam, His Divine Holiness, Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam, expounded on the Cosmic Principles of Bhakti during the everyday live public talk - Nithyananda Satsang. In this talk entitled Dissolve into Devotion - Nithyananda Morning Satsang (07 Nov 2010) Message, His Divine Holiness (HDH) began His series on Sacred Sentiments. In exploring the work of modern day researchers, He shared that He found that the literature is replete with studies on the power of prayer, however the subject of Bhakti was not touched on. His Divine Holiness juxtaposed prayer as it is practiced in the West with the Vedic concept of Bhakti. Westerners are taught that God exists outside themselves but in the Vedic tradition, God and the universe are not separate, He explained. His Divine Holiness shared that Bhakti helps with the correct understanding of the relationship between God, nature, human society, and ourselves and when we understand that we are all One, then sacred sentiment occurs.
