Original Verse

"प्राणां चेदिडया पिबेन्नियमितं भूयोऽन्यया रेचयेत् पित्वा पिङ्गलया समीरणमथो बद्ध्वा त्यजेद्वामया॥

सूर्याचन्द्रमसोरनेन विधिना बिम्बद्वयं ध्यायताम् शुद्धा नाडिगणा भवन्ति यमिनां मासत्रयादूर्ध्वतः ८६"

Transliteration

"prāṇāṃ cediḍayā pibenniyamitaṃ bhūyo’nyayā recayet pitvā piṅgalayā samīraṇamatho baddhvā tyajedvāmayā ll

sūryācandramasoranena vidhinā bimbadvayaṃ dhyāyatām śuddhā nāḍigaṇā bhavanti yamināṃ māsatrayādūrdhvataḥ 86"

Translation

Regularly inhale prāṇa through iḍā and exhale through the other. Thereafter, draw the air in through piṅgalā, retain and exhale through the left (nostril). This practice is done through sūrya and candra, while visualizing the two discs (of the Sun and Moon). The Yogīs attain purification of the group of nāḍīs after three months. 86.
