Friday, May 20, 2011 Prayer. Welcome. Today’s subject is Key to total fulfillment! 168th Patanjali Yoga Sutras, 4th chapter 6th verse Tathra dhyaanajam anaasayam Vivekananda: Among the various minds, that which is attained by samadhi is desireless Prabhavananda: all the various types of minds only that which is purified by samadhi is free from all latent impress of karma and all cravings Satchitananda: only the minds form of meditation the artificial … Osho: only the original mind which is born of meditations is free from desires. This is one of the most significant. Dhyaanajam is the keyword. The sacred secret in this sutra is Patanjali says all minds even if you express the peak performance in all your dimensions, the ultimate mind is that which is established in samadhi – dhyaanjam. The word ‘Aja’ means that which beautifully slips out of the origin. Roughly it is translated as born of, born from. But if you look deep, ‘Aja’ means beautifully slipping out, not even slipping out because when it comes out it does not get disconnected from the original. It is an extension happened from flowing out and that which continues to be part of the original. The mind which is born of unclutching and continues to be connected to the source of unclutching dhyaanajam is the ultimate! Please understand even the miracles you experience like levitation, kundalini awakening – these can be called as extraordinary experiences. The materialization and teleportation can be called as extraordinary powers. Even these are the not the peak. The ultimate is dhyaanajam – the mind born out of the samadhi state which continues to come out and be in the samadhi state. Just now I am getting message that one of our devotees is getting kumkum in her hands! As I said yesterday my spectrum has increased from 2G to 7G now! But again I wanted to remind you these extraordinary experiences and powers are great. They help you, support you, they raise you. But the ultimate is dhyaanajam the mind born out of the unclutched state from the unclutched experience, from samadhi. Through this sutra, Patanjali is reminding us. He is such an extraordinary master. Once in three sutras he reminds the original purpose with which he wrote this book! He must have been so extraordinary that when he was talking about levitation, people would have experienced levitation, when he was talking about teleportation people would have experienced levitation, when he spoke about the siddhis anima, mahima, lahima, karima, they would have experienced that. That is why he reminds you to relax. When you have these you may tend to get diverted. He reminds you not to become egoistic and get disturbed and to come back to the source, come back to the origin, come back to the life.

Now again when he is happening now, people are having these great powers, experiences. He is reminding all of you to come back to the state of dhyaanajam means the space from which the extraordinary – please understand the space from which the extraordinary powers and experiences happen by its nature unclutched and desireless! Mind has a capacity to express extraordinary powers. Every time when you ask something it will give you. But only the space where nothing is being asked by you is the ultimate! Understand I have a story for you – A blond asks another one – excuse me, what time is it now? Roman says it is 11:25 pm. The blond with confusion, you know it is a weird thing I have asked this question 25 times by now and every time I got a different answer! Every time you ask your mind, it will always give different things. But you will never get the truth from your mind. Your mind is Hiranyagarbha, Kalpataru – it will give whatever you want. But that will not give the ultimate which is dhyaanajam – it is born out of samadhi, meditation, unclutching the space of desirelessness. I have spoken 101 times on this subject. But still every time I speak I feel it is new every time because of greatness of Patanajali. He is so compassionate and careful about disciples not being mislead or misguided. So he goes on reminding. Today, I will do a very strange but strong experiment. Let all of you sit in dhyaanajam. When I say dhyaanajam just remember that word dhyaanajam and say that I will establish myself in unclutching state, samadhi state. Make a sankalpa and just unclutch. Even after this unclutching, being in desireless state, if you are experiencing kundalini awakening and materialization, then be completely relaxed. You will never be diverted or misguided. Because they are now happening not because you wanted them but out of you being in dhyaanajam as an expression of you being in samadhi, unclutched state. This shows if this is a siddhi a performance of your mind or it is from dhyaanajam – samadhi state, desirelessness. Now all of you sit in a complete relaxed way taking a sankalpa – I will be in samadhi, unclutched state. Be in desirelessness. Even if you make sankalpa, just make a will I will be desrielessness. I will just relax into unclutching. Close your eyes and unclutch. Let the patanjali’s great truth, the truth expressed by him in this sutra dhyaanajam – the desirelessness established in samadhi happen in all of us! All the powers and experiences which are established in this samadhi state only those powers and experiences express in our system. Anything which is not established in enlightenment, in desirelessness, in unclutching may not express through our system. Only the dhyaanajam should express – born out of desirelessness, samadhi state should express through our system. Blessings!
