Transliteration

kalyäna äsana dou hätha pagäà vici äne tinako goòä nécai öhänai | bahuri päkhtyä bähari lyävai punaha yugati aisai öhaharävai ॥ bahuri moòi päöhä ne äne kari parilyäi käkasé öhänai | dou päda adhara kari räkhai näsä agra driñöa ko däkhai ॥ 338 ॥ for extended verse see end of chapter

Translation

Bring both the hands between the legs and place them under the knees, while bringing the hands outside turn in such a way that the finger lock is formed. Both the feet are positioned in the air. Gaze is directed at the tip of the nose.

Steps/Technique

1. Sit with the legs raised.

2. Bring the arms under the knees

3. Interlock hands at the back.

4. Fix the gaze at the tip of the nose

5. Be balance in this position for 30 seconds

f practiced for 7 days along with pranayama body will be purified. One who patiently performs the asana along with pavanadharana gets his body purified.
