KAILASA TIRUVANNAMALAI SRI NITHYANANDA JANMABHUMI KSHETRAM On March 9, 2026
With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA TIRUVANNAMALAI SRI NITHYANANDA JANMABHUMI KSHETRAM organized a sacred monastic reception and spiritual meeting on March 9, 2026. This auspicious day was marked by the visit of Sri Kamalatmananda Swami to the birthplace of THE SPH, occurring during the sacred circumambulation of the Arunachala Hill. The event served as a beautiful bridge between monastic traditions, celebrating the shared heritage of the Hindu civilization and the divine impact of THE SPH’s mission in Tiruvannamalai and beyond. The activities of the day enriched the lives of 20 participants and were made possible through the dedicated service of 20 volunteers who facilitated the traditional honors and devotional ceremonies.
Pada Puja
In a spiritually significant moment unfolding in the sacred atmosphere of Arunachala, Sri Kamalatmananda Swami, accompanied by two assistant Maharajs, visited Nithyananda Janma Kshetra (NJK) while performing Girivalam, the sacred circumambulation of the holy hill. While traversing the Girivalam path, Swami and his companions were drawn to the NJK premises, leading to an unexpected and auspicious visit that was received with great joy by the resident devotees and volunteers. This meeting highlighted the natural resonance between those dedicated to the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma and the preservation of ancient monastic traditions.
Upon entering the premises, Sri Kamalatmananda Swami was welcomed with a traditional Poornakumbha reception, an ancient Hindu honor reserved for revered spiritual leaders. The devotees offered a flower garland and performed Pada Puja, honoring the presence of the monastic guest in the very space where THE SPH manifested on Earth. The ceremony was supported by 20 volunteers who meticulously ensured that the traditional protocols were observed, reflecting the deep culture of Atithi Devo Bhava (the guest is God) that is central to KAILASA's values.
During his interaction with the devotees, Sri Kamalatmananda Swami shared poignant memories connected to THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM, BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM. He noted with reverence that THE SPH was born in the holy land of Tiruvannamalai and recalled their earlier interactions during the years when THE SPH was actively engaged in intense spiritual and humanitarian service activities in Chennai and Madurai. Swami reflected on a visit to Madurai where monks had hosted him with profound devotion, and he fondly remembered the spiritual connections and contributions made during that period, including the installation of a Swami Vivekananda statue, which stands as a testament to the spirit of service and Hindu revival.
The connection between the monastic orders was further highlighted when Swami mentioned that, while residing in Kashi approximately six months prior, he had been visited by representatives from the Nithyananda Ashram. During that meeting, they had offered him Prasadam and presented a commemorative album from the USK Foundation, showcasing the global activities of KAILASA. The current meeting at the Janma Kshetra concluded with soul-stirring devotional bhajans led by Swami, enabling all present to connect more deeply with the space and superconsciousness of Paramashiva.
The day’s spiritual engagements continued into the evening as devotees visited Sri Yogi Ramsuratkumar Ashram, where Sri Kamalatmananda Swami was staying. Despite the late hour, Swami graciously granted a brief audience, where devotees offered garlands and received his blessings. During this meeting, an invitation was extended to Swami to attend the Annamalaiyar Abhishekam at the Arunachaleswarar Temple—a sacred ritual that is offered daily by THE SPH. Swami kindly agreed to attend the Abhishekam on the morning of the day after tomorrow, further strengthening the bonds of spiritual goodwill and the collective mission of reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization.
