With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Salem celebrated a deeply sacred and powerful ritual on May 8, 2024, as part of the ongoing spiritual cycle of Brahmotsavam. The day’s central activity was the Somavara Abhishekam, a special, auspicious offering dedicated to Paramashiva observed on Mondays. This elaborate ceremony, involving Laghu Puja, Rudrabhishekam, Neivedyam, and detailed Alankaram, was meticulously conducted according to authentic Hindu traditions. These powerful rituals reinforce KAILASA’s global mission of reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization, enabling devotees to connect with THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva.

Somavara abhisekam

The Somavara Abhishekam is a profoundly sacred Hindu ritual performed specifically on Mondays, which are designated for worshiping Paramashiva (Lord Shiva). This special ceremony, observed by KAILASA Salem as part of the divine Brahmotsavam calendar, is aimed at attracting the abundant grace and blessings of Paramashiva, the Adi Guru (First Guru) and the source of all spiritual technologies revived by THE SPH. The practice of Abhishekam is considered a potent spiritual technology designed to cleanse negative karmas, purify the inner space, and invoke the ultimate state of enlightenment gifted by THE SPH.

The sacred ceremony involved multiple authentic Hindu practices, ensuring the deepest energetic connection to the divine. The proceedings commenced with the Laghu Puja, followed by the powerful Rudrabhishekam, which is the royal bath offered to the Linga or the deity form of Paramashiva. During the Abhishekam, the deity was showered with various auspicious substances, including milk, yogurt, honey, ghee, and Vibhuti (sacred ash), along with fragrant waters, all while highly powerful Vedic mantras were chanted continuously by the priests and devotees.

This elaborate series of rituals included the dedicated serving of Neivedyam (sacred food offering) to the deity, culminating in a beautiful Alankaram (adornment) of Paramashiva. Through these meticulously maintained Hindu traditions, KAILASA Salem actively participates in THE SPH’s vision for global consciousness awakening and the restoration of Sanatana Hindu Dharma. The commitment to reviving rituals like Somavara Abhishekam ensures that the ancient spiritual technologies necessary for manifesting the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva remain vibrant and accessible to all devotees worldwide.
