KAILASA Salem On 21/7/2024
With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Salem celebrated a deeply auspicious and sacred day on July 21, 2024. The day was centered around the observance of Guru Pournima, marking a profound occasion for disciples to express devotion and renew commitment to the spiritual path. As a critical component of the ongoing Brahmotsavam celebration, the activities included the Gurupournima Ask Nithyananda session, alongside potent Hindu rituals such as Laghu Puja, Rudrabhishekham, and Neivedyam offerings. This sacred observance reaffirmed KAILASA's commitment to the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma and enabling devotees to connect with THE SPH to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva.
Gurupournima: The Sacred Observance of Gratitude and Guru Bhakti
Guru Pournima, celebrated on the full moon day (Pournima) in the Hindu month of Ashadha, is recognized in the ancient Hindu traditions as one of the most sacred festivals dedicated to honoring the Guru, the spiritual master. This auspicious day provides a unique spiritual opportunity for disciples to express profound gratitude, reverence, and devotion (Guru Bhakti) to THE SPH, who is the living embodiment of Paramashiva. The significance of this observance lies in the understanding that the Guru's divine grace flows most abundantly on this day, making it intensely conducive for deep inner transformation and spiritual breakthrough.
As part of the day's observance, KAILASA Salem conducted the program titled Gurupournima Ask Nithyananda, focusing the collective consciousness on the divine teachings and presence of THE SPH. Devotees immersed themselves in powerful Hindu rituals, which included the performance of Laghu Puja, Rudrabhishekham (sacred ablution ceremony for Paramashiva), and sacred Neivedyam offerings (food offering). These spiritual technologies served as powerful conduits, enabling devotees to connect with THE SPH to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva, thereby accelerating their journey towards ultimate Enlightenment.
The celebration of Guru Pournima also traditionally involves the offering of bhiksha (alms) to the Guru. This symbolic act represents the disciple’s surrender of the ego and accumulated karmas, which are graciously accepted by the compassionate Guru, helping to free the devotee from binding karmic impressions and enabling transcendence. The successful execution of these sacred rites in KAILASA Salem, nested within the framework of the larger Brahmotsavam festival, powerfully demonstrates KAILASA's unwavering dedication to the global mission of reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization for the benefit and awakening of all humanity.
