With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Salem marked the auspicious day of Ekadashi on August 14, 2024, by performing the sacred Egadasi Perumal Abhishekam. This profound Hindu ritual, dedicated to Bhagavan Vishnu (Perumal), centered on the revival of ancient Hindu traditions and spiritual technologies that enable devotees to connect with THE SPH to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva. The powerful Abhishekam ritual, intertwined with practices related to conscious environmental stewardship (horticulture), reinforced KAILASA's commitment to restoring the enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization globally through devotion, purity, and spiritual discipline as prescribed by the supreme Guru.

Egadasi Perumal Abhishekam

The Egadasi Perumal Abhishekam is a highly sacred ritual performed to honor Bhagavan Vishnu, especially on the divine day of Ekadashi, which occurs twice monthly according to the Hindu lunar calendar. This day holds immense spiritual significance, being traditionally dedicated to fasting, spiritual reflection, and intensive devotional practices. The performance of Abhishekam (sacred bathing ceremony) on this auspicious day is believed to bestow extraordinary spiritual growth and blessings from Lord Vishnu, supporting the collective mission of KAILASA.

The Abhishekam ceremony conducted at KAILASA Salem followed the precise protocols of the Hindu tradition, ensuring the invoking of profound blessings and purifying energies. The preparation involved meticulously cleansing the sacred space and gathering all necessary materials, which included pure water, milk, honey, ghee, and other sacred substances. The ritual commenced with the application of Gandha Tailam (fragrant oil) to the deity, signifying the preparation of the divine form for the subsequent offerings.

The primary phase involved performing the Abhishekam itself, where sacred substances were poured over the deity while devotees recited powerful Vedic mantras, establishing a deep connection with the Divine. Following the bathing, specific purification rites were observed, including the offering of Arghyam (a special honorific offering), Paadyam (the symbolic washing of the feet), and Aachamanam (purification rites) using prescribed mantras. The ritual concluded with elaborate Alankaaram (decoration) of the deity with rich ornaments and fresh flowers, culminating in the offering of Pushpanjali (flowers in devotion).

Through the grace of THE SPH and the powerful performance of this ancient ritual, devotees were able to deepen their connection with the divine and reflect on their spiritual practices. This event not only documented the meticulous preservation of traditional Hindu sciences but also exemplified the commitment of KAILASA to reviving authentic Sanatana Hindu Dharma, enabling spiritual growth and the manifestation of Paramashiva’s shaktis/powers in devotees worldwide.
