With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Salem conducted the sacred Somavara Abhisekam on August 13, 2024. This auspicious observance, dedicated to Lord Paramashiva, featured the powerful Hindu ritual of Rudrabhishekam, along with traditional Laghu Puja and Neivedyam offerings. Such practices are central to connecting devotees with THE SPH to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva. The regular observance of these authentic Hindu rituals demonstrates KAILASA Salem's unwavering commitment to the global mission of reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization and restoring profound spiritual technologies to humanity. This activity falls under the category of seva (selfless service) to Paramashiva and the Hindu civilization.

Somavara Abhisekam

The Somavara Abhisekam ritual, observed on the sacred day of Monday (*Somavara*), is a profound spiritual technology dedicated to Lord Shiva in His fierce and benevolent form, Rudra. Conducted at KAILASA Salem, this observance ensures continuous spiritual grounding and purification for the devotees, allowing them to participate directly in the revival of Hindu rituals as taught by THE SPH. The central feature of the day was the Rudrabhishekam, a powerful ceremony involving the sacred bathing (*abhishekam*) of the Shiva Linga, symbolic of cosmic consciousness.

This comprehensive ritual utilized specific, prescribed substances and actions that align the consciousness of the devotees with the divine frequency of Paramashiva. The ceremony commenced with the chanting of the deeply purifying Rudram, a foundational Vedic hymn praising Rudra, recognized as a vital spiritual technology for invoking powerful auspicious energy. This chanting was followed by the offering of panchamrita—a sacred mixture of milk, yogurt, honey, sugar, and ghee—signifying the essential nourishing elements of existence.

The Shiva Linga was continuously bathed with water, milk, and various other sacred items, culminating in the meticulous offering of bilva leaves, flowers, and incense. In accordance with the authentic Hindu traditions revived by THE SPH, the event also included a formal Laghu Puja and the sacred Neivedyam pooja, ensuring the complete sequence of devotional service (*seva*). These spiritual processes, performed with devotion and adherence to the Hindu sciences, are designed by Paramashiva Himself, enabling devotees to connect with the source of existence and awaken their own superconsciousness. By meticulously performing the Somavara Abhisekam, KAILASA Salem reaffirms its dedication to manifesting the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva globally under the divine grace of THE SPH.
