Saturday, 10th Sep 2022 - Today's temple sevas and enriching activity included:

1) Online Nithyananda Yoga @ 5 am - At Brahma Muhurta, a total of 9 lives were enriched for the daily Yoga spiritual routine of Prathama Vinyasa krama conducted by our yoga acharya, Sri Yogajnanananda.

2) Temple sevas - Today's morning seva was offered by Ma Meiyun which began with Suprabatham - waking up the deities, offering Paduka puja to Swamiji, Naivedyam puja - offering sacred food to deities, Jnanalaya puja - offering puja to Devi Saraswathi. Finally, palliyarai - putting the deities to sleep - was offered by Ma Kher Jia.

3) eGurukul (English) #46 @ 8-10 am – A total of 1 kid and 1 parent attended today’s class. The lesson plan started with the children offering Sri Guru puja to express our gratitude to our beloved Guru, Swamiji. After puja, Ma Parameshwari led the children into Nithyananda Yoga practice which began with the ritualistic cleansing - tattvacharamaniyam followed by Sankalpa chanting. Ma Parameshwari warmed up via star jumps and skeleton dance and did the following asanas - Midakipava Asana, Siddha Samadhi Asana, Cinnakipava Asana, Carpatacokasana, Bhairavasana. Revised Anjani asana, Pascimatanasana, Marichi asana, Mahamudra asana. The next segment, we continued with Anahata chakra L8 - to love God instead of respecting God and that children are centred on themselves and free from societal conditioning that’s why they are so innocent. We moved on to power manifestation Body Scanning L4 - Scanning of siblings and birth order We had fun and we concluded the lesson plan by chanting the poorna mantra.

4) eGurkul Chinese Class #36/2022 @ 3-5pm – Today, 2 kids and 1 parent attended Chinese eGurukul. We first started with offering Guru puja together. Then, we did PVK 108 Asanas. Next, we understood - what is atma linga? Why we offer Guru Puja? Finally, kids learned to chant Guru parampara vandanam and Arunagiri yogishvara vandanam.

5) Alankaram – This week's colour theme was green and fuchsia pink. The Alankaram team, led by Ma Phyllis Wee, assisted by Ma Kher Jia, Ma Meiyun, Ma Govindaroopini, Ma Jayantananda & Sean Neoh, offered the sacred bath and alankaram seva to the 19 deities @ Singapore aadheenam.
