She is a form of Adi Parashakti and is the consort of Sharabha. She is described as a goddess with a male lion’s face and a female human body representing the union of Shiva and Shakti. She holds the combined destructive power of Vishnu, Shiva and Shakti. This combination of lion and human forms represents the balance of good and evil. The Prathyangira Devi Puja contains powerful chants to ward off evil spirits and destroy enemies. She removes fear and subdues enemies who act against the good. She clears confusions and stress and gives clarity. She enhances will power and confidence of the person performing the puja. She develops high intuition to know the dangers before they appear and clears all hurdles and keeps us in perpetual completion. A total of 18 participants attended the puja to receive Her blessings.
