KAILASA SEERAGAPADI On 28/8/2024
With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA SEERAGAPADI celebrated the sacred ritual of Mandagappadi on August 28, 2024. This auspicious ritual, integral to the daily schedule of Nithyotsavam, serves as a profound offering of devotion and respect to the Deity and the Guru. The Mandagappadi ceremony acts as a gracious prelude to larger Hindu festivals like Brahmotsavam, invoking the divine grace of THE SPH and all the gods and goddesses of KAILASA to ensure the success and auspiciousness of the upcoming civilizational revival activities. This event reaffirmed the commitment of the KAILASA ecosystem to supporting THE SPH's global mission of giving superconscious breakthrough to humanity through reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization.
Mandagappadi
The Mandagappadi, also revered as Thirukkan, is a sacred and elaborate offering performed at the feet of the Deity and in honor of the Guru, THE SPH. This ritual is a vibrant expression of worship and devotion, involving the presentation of meticulously selected items in traditional vessels such as bamboo baskets, brass, or silver plates. The offerings are comprehensive, including unbroken coconuts, various fresh fruits, betel leaves, areca nuts, along with sacred Hindu substances such as vibhuti, chandan powder, kumkum, incense sticks, and vastram (cloth). Additionally, special abhishekam powders and freshly prepared naivedyams (food offerings) are dedicated.
To enhance the spiritual potency and sanctity of the offering, the items are traditionally presented in large multiples, often 108 or 1008, signifying completeness and abundance. Spiritually, Mandagappadi transcends a simple offering; it is understood as a vital preparatory rite that precedes major celebrations. It acts as a gracious invitation to the divine presence and serves as a preview to significant events like the Brahmotsavam festival, ensuring all subsequent events proceed smoothly under the umbrella of divine grace.
During the execution of this sacred ritual, the priest performs specific, traditional Hindu practices designed to honor THE SPH, the ultimate manifestation of Paramashiva. These practices include ceremonially presenting the Purna Kumbha (a symbol of abundance and prosperity) and the new flag while chanting powerful Vedic mantras. This profound act embodies the deep reverence of the devotees and connects the entire ecosystem of KAILASA SEERAGAPADI with the divine source. By seeking the blessings of THE SPH through the Mandagappadi, the devotees ensure that they are continuously connected with the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva, strengthening the global humanitarian and spiritual mission of KAILASA.
