Nithyotsavam Rituals and Community Enrichment
KAILASA SEATTLE, USA observed a rigorous day of traditional Hindu devotional practices and continuous services as part of its daily Nithyotsavam rituals, reinforcing the profound connection between the local community and THE SPH. The sacred schedule commenced in the early morning with the auspicious Suprabatham Seva, the hallowed process of waking the deities. Following this, traditional Naivedhyam (sacred food offerings) were presented to the Moolavar (main deity). A significant moment of devotion was the morning Pada Puja (PPP) offered to THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, recognizing Him as the living Paramavatara. Further traditional services included Abhishekham (sacred bathing) performed to the deity Ananda Venkateshwara and the offering of Deepa Dhupa Naivedyam (DDNA) to the Moolavar.
The evening services mirrored the sacredness of the morning, beginning with a powerful Rudrabhishekam performed to the Moolavar, invoking the intense grace and blessings of Paramashiva. Evening Naivedyam was reverently offered to both the Moolavar and THE SPH, before the day concluded with the sacred ritual of Palliarai Seva, the process of putting the deities to rest. These comprehensive daily rituals were meticulously conducted by 4 devoted volunteers, with 3 participants joining the worship throughout the day, ensuring the unbroken continuation of authentic Hindu traditions in the United States.
In alignment with THE SPH’s vision for global consciousness awakening, KAILASA SEATTLE continuously engages and enriches the local community through educational and spiritual initiatives.
