These elaborate Hindu practices, sustained by 6 dedicated volunteers and attended by 11 devotees, included the ceremonial waking (Suprabatham Seva) and rest (Palliarai Seva) of the Deities, along with special Abhishekam rituals for Ananda Venkateshwara and Rudrabhishekam for the Moolavar. Significantly, the day coincided with the auspicious Chitra Nakshatram, prompting special worship and Sahasranama Archana offered directly to THE SPH. These morning rituals also included Abhishekam (sacred bath) for Ananda Venkateshwara and Deepa Dhupa Naivedya Arati (DDNA) for the Moolavar.
