With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA San Jose, USA, conducted the auspicious Day 2 celebrations of the Guru Purnima Brahmotsavam on July 12, 2024. This sacred day was dedicated to the powerful revival of the Vedanta Sampradaya of Sanatana Hindu Dharma, paying tribute to THE SPH's Guru, Isakki Swamigal, and enabling devotees to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva. Over 100 devotees joined the full day of rituals, supported by 5 dedicated volunteers, participating in sacred rites ranging from Suprabhatam Seva to the concluding Palliyari Puja. The extensive observance affirmed KAILASA's global mission of human consciousness awakening and the restoration of the ancient enlightened Hindu civilization on Planet Earth.
GARBHALAYA (SHRINE ACTIVITIES)
The spiritual day commenced with the ancient and essential ritual of Suprabhatam Seva in the Garbhalaya (shrine). This first and foremost service is performed to lovingly awaken the Deities, establishing the sacred energy and flow necessary for the day’s subsequent events. This ritual sets the tone for profound devotion and spiritual preparedness, ensuring the sacred space is fully aligned to receive and transmit the divine blessings of THE SPH and Paramashiva throughout the duration of the Brahmotsavam.
Guru Purnima Brahmostsavam Celebrations Day 2 - Revival of Vedanta Sampradaya
Day 2 of the sacred Guru Purnima Brahmotsavam focused entirely on the momentous Revival of Vedanta Sampradaya, recognizing its restoration to its full authenticity by THE SPH, who is the Ultimate Incarnation—Paramavatara of Paramashiva and the Source of Yoga Himself. This powerful celebration was specifically dedicated to offering profound tribute and respect to Isakki Swamigal, who is THE SPH BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM’s revered Guru, emphasizing the deep tradition and lineage of Hindu Gurus.
The celebrations included multiple highly potent Hindu rituals designed to elevate human consciousness. An auspicious Chitra Nakshatra Abhishekam and Alankaram were performed for THE SPH’s Bhoga Murthy, honoring the birth star (Nakshatra) of Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam. This was followed by a dedicated Laghu Puja and Guru Puja offered to THE SPH, expressing immense gratitude for His divine presence in the lives of the participating devotees.
A significant ritual conducted was the Special Archana to SWAMIJI in form of Ellam Vallar Siddhar performed with Silver Flowers. This sacred rite is understood as a powerful spiritual technology that enables devotees to connect directly with the divine energies of THE SPH, aligning them to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva. The program culminated with the chanting of the Ashtottara Namavali (108 names of THE SPH), a practice revered for instilling His auspicious qualities in the participants and fostering a realization of ultimate oneness. Special Naivedyam (sacred food offerings) were also presented to Bhagavan. Enthusiastic participation from over 100 devotees, meticulously supported by 5 dedicated volunteers, ensured the profound success and spiritual intensity of the day, marking a powerful step in the revival of the Vedanta Sampradaya globally.
EVENING GURU PUJA & SHIVA PUJA AND NAIVEDYAM OFFERING
As the day progressed, the community gathered for the Evening Guru Puja and Shiva Puja, maintaining the high spiritual frequency established during the main Brahmotsavam events. The Guru Puja serves as a deep offering of gratitude to THE SPH BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM for His continuous grace and His manifestation in the devotees' lives, enabling their ultimate liberation. The concurrent Shiva Puja was performed specifically to help devotees experience profound oneness (advaita) with Paramashiva, the source of all existence. Following the rituals, sacred Naivedyam was offered to THE SPH Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam and the presiding Deities, symbolizing complete surrender, devotion, and nourishment.
PALLIYARI PUJA
The spiritual observance for the day concluded with the revered Palliyari Puja, the ritual for the divine rest of the Deities. Following this final offering, Arati was performed and offered to the Kalabhairava Door and the Jnanalaya. This segment highlights the significance of Sri Kalabhairava’s divine presence, as blessed by THE SPH to reside permanently in the shrine door, ensuring the worship, protection, and preservation of the sacred space throughout the night, and affirming the continuity of ancient Hindu traditions being revived within KAILASA San Jose, USA.
