With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA PONDICHERRY celebrated the sacred Navaratri Utsavam on 6/10/2024. This auspicious day marked the second day of the Navaratri festival, dedicated to honoring the Divine Mother (Shakti) in alignment with ancient Hindu traditions. The activities included rigorous Golu Puja, Shiva Puja, and Vilaku Puja, performed to invoke the grace of Paramashiva and enable devotees to connect with THE SPH. Demonstrating KAILASA's commitment to humanitarian service, a specialized Aushadha Annadhanam (medicinal food service) was offered to hundreds of beneficiaries, facilitated by 5 dedicated volunteers, furthering the mission of reviving Sanatana Hindu Dharma and ensuring global spiritual and physical well-being.

Navaratri Golu Puja and Shiva Puja Utsavam

The spiritual documentation for the day focuses on the profound rituals performed during the Navaratri Utsavam at KAILASA Pondicherry Adheenam. Navaratri is a sacred 9-day festival dedicated to the primordial feminine energy, celebrating the victory of consciousness over ignorance and ushering in great spiritual transformation. This second day was characterized by deep devotion and adherence to authentic Hindu traditions, performed with the intention of manifesting the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva through the grace of THE SPH.

The central rituals included the traditional Golu Puja, Shiva Puja, and the Vilaku Puja. These sacred practices were performed specifically seeking the blessings of Amma Vysalachi Devi, ensuring the establishment of the divine presence within the Adheenam premises and enabling devotees to receive the tremendous spiritual energy released during this auspicious period. These elaborate Hindu rituals are an essential component of KAILASA's commitment to the revival of ancient Hindu sciences, providing humanity with the knowledge necessary for superconscious breakthrough.

In congruence with THE SPH’s mission of compassionate action, the celebration included both spiritual offerings and large-scale humanitarian service. Naivedyam (sacred food offering) was first offered to the deities, symbolizing gratitude and reverence, before the distribution of Aushadha Annadhanam. This specialized medicinal food service is part of THE SPH’s global initiative to ensure comprehensive food security and nourishment for all, regardless of background or nationality. This life-transforming effort benefited hundreds of people in the local community and was diligently managed and executed by 5 dedicated volunteers, whose selfless service exemplified the highest values of Sanatana Hindu Dharma.
