Chathurthi
The sacred observance of Chathurthi was performed at the KAILASA Puducherry Adheenam, celebrating the highly auspicious occasion of Sangadakara Chathurthi. This particular day holds profound significance in the Hindu calendar, dedicated to the clearing of obstacles, the invocation of blessings, and deepening the spiritual connection to the divine consciousness of Paramashiva. The entire event was permeated by the blessings of THE SPH BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, ensuring that the rituals were performed with maximum spiritual potency and authenticity according to ancient Hindu traditions.
The observance began with the traditional Abishegam, the sacred bathing ceremony for the Deities, utilizing potent ingredients prescribed by the ancient Hindu scriptures. Following the bathing ritual, an elaborate Alangaram (adoration and decoration) was performed, meticulously preparing the Deities with ornamentation and fragrant flowers for worship. The ceremony culminated in the offering of Naveidhyam, a pure vegetarian offering made with profound devotion and gratitude, symbolizing the surrender of the individual self to Paramashiva and invoking His grace.
These vital Hindu rituals were meticulously supported and carried out by two dedicated volunteers. Their selfless service (Seva) ensured the smooth and authentic execution of the ceremony, thereby generating tremendous spiritual merit for the collective. The continuous performance of such ceremonies by KAILASA PONDICHERRY is a direct manifestation of THE SPH’s global mission: the revival of the enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization and enabling devotees to connect with THE SPH to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva.
