Slovak Sangha was established in 2010. Exactly on October 10 2010 the very first online program - Kalpataru has been conducted in city Kosice and the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam, Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam introduce for very first time to citizens of Slovakia. Program was a great success and followed up with a second Kalpataru program conducted in the same city on November 11 2010. Soon after more online programs were conducted in the city Poprad and the sangha started evolving and growing in Slovakia in both cities and expanded into first 2 centres and later into Paduka Mandirs. The fast expanding centre in city Poprad under High Tatras mountains was named by the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam, Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam as Shivaloka. Thanks to more and more program's participants and graduates, sangha started slowly growing and spreading all over the country also into other cities like Považská Bystrica, Bratislava, Prešov and others.
The programs became very popular and sangha members decided to literally go beyond borders and expand to the neighbouring country, Czech Republic. Being one country in the past - former Czechoslovakia, our nations are very close, live in brotherhood and their languages are very similar. This enabled Slovak sangha members to conduct programs also for Czech people with no language barrier and bring people closer to the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam, Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam closer to Hinduism, closer to Enlightenment.
In 2017 and again in 2018 in Kosice, Slovakia hosted the Paramashivoham World Tour of initiated disciples of the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam, Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam. Over 300 participants arrived each year (many from neighbouring countries).
the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam, Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam inaugurated Slovak/Czech sangha as Sarvajnapeetha Slovakia. Slovak & Czech is unique with people from various backgrounds, professions, wide range of age and both Slovak and Czech nationalities. We launched several web pages and FB pages, translated several Swamiji’s books and we provide daily live translation of Swamiji’s satsangs.
