Today we celebrate the third AADI VELLI, the third Friday (VELLI KIZHAMAI) in the auspicious month of AADI.

Fridays are especially auspicious for Devi Worship. During this month of AADI, Devi Shakti’s power is in the peak.

On the auspicious occasion of 3rd AADI VELLI, Kailasa Houston offered Flower Pushpa Alankaram to Goddess of Wealth, Devi SWARNAMBIKA AMMAN. 🌹

Devi Swarnambika (a form of Goddess Parvati) is the Golden Hued Goddess who grants boons for wealth, Goddess Lakshmi is the creator of wealth and Kubera is the distributor of the created riches and prosperity. Receiving blessings of the distributor, the benefactor and the creator of wealth is certain to bring prosperity!

VARALAKSHMI DEVI is a graceful form of Lakshmi, who manifests the blessings of all the ASHTA LAKSHMIS ( 8 Lakshmis ) in our life.  With her Auspicious blessings, we bring prosperity and abundance to every aspect of our lives. On this day, VARALAKSHMI DEVI Blesses & Grants Boons to All.

ASHTA LAKSHMIS 1. AADI LAKSHMI The primodial Lakshmi who is Ramaa, the one who brings happiness to the whole cosmos. She resides in Vaikuntam along with Sriman Narayana.   2. DHANYA LAKSHMI The nuritional value of all grains and minerals is Dhanya Lakshmi. She blesses for all the ingredients for a healthy body and being.   3. GAJA LAKSHMI When Lakshmi is born from the Churning of the ocean she bring with her not just one Amrita Kalasha, but elephants who are pouring an endless flow of the nectar of immortality upon her. Gaja Lakshmi blesses with the flow of the necter of Oneness.   4. SANTANA LAKSHMI This Devi cares for progeny and blesses with healthy concious children.   5. VIJAYA LAKSHMI Vijaya or Victory is blessed in both the inner world and outer worlds by Vijaya Lakshmi. All of the troubles we have within us and outisde are conquered by the blessings of Vijaya Lakshmi.   6. DHANA LAKSHMI Dhana is wealth, but it is not inclusive of only currency and coins. Dhana is in fact the wealth of the whole Cosmos iteslf. The mountains, trees, rivers, the Sun and the Moon are all Dhana. All of of our inner qualities, of Intergrity, Authenticity, Responsibility and Enriching are also Dhana.   7. VIDYA LAKSHMI The ultimate knowledge of the Oneness with the Cosmos itself is Vidya. It is not academic and institutional knowledge but the knowledge of the truth of Oneness. Vidya Lakshmis blessings assure that everything in life is filled in from the context of Oneness.

8. VEERA LAKSHMI As the name suggests (Veera means valor or courage), this form of Sri Lakshmi is the bestower of courage, strength, and power. Veera Lakshmi is worshiped to gain valor and strength to overpower formidable adversaries in war or simply to overcome the difficulties of life and ensure a life of stability.
