On Occasion of Vijayadasami, Day 10 of NAVARATRI, Nithyanandeshwari Alankaram, Aarati & Puja was performed, followed by Lalitha Sahasranamam Archana.
Vijayadasami is the Day of Victory. There is a story that Devi fought the demon Mahishasur for nine days. On the tenth day, she slayed him with her trishul (trident).
The tenth day of the festival is celebrated as Dushehra or Vijaya Dashami, symbolizing the victory of consciousness over negative influences and negative thought currents.
