KAILASA HOUSTON DAILY TEMPLE ACTIVITIES
The daily activities at KAILASA Houston are meticulously structured to honor the divine presence of Paramashiva and THE SPH, ensuring devotees are continuously connected to the divine state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva. The day began in the early hours of the Brahmamuhurta with the Suprapātam Seva, the sacred process of awakening the presiding deities. This practice is performed with the profound intention of awakening the latent divinity within every participant and seeking blessings for the start of a new, spiritually aligned day, in accordance with the timeless Hindu traditions.
Following the awakening, devotees gathered for profound spiritual technologies prescribed by THE SPH, including Nithyananda Yoga & Nithya Dhyan. Participants engaged in 108 Prathama Vinyasa Krama sequences before entering into deep Nithya Dhyaan Meditation. This dedicated practice in the most auspicious hours of the day prepares the devotees' consciousness to receive the grace of THE SPH, setting the highest vibration for the manifestation of the shaktis/powers of Paramashiva throughout their day.
The temple schedule included the central daily worship rituals, led by dedicated temple volunteers. These rituals featured the Guru Pūjā offered to THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM, BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, and the Sri Shiva Pūjā offered to Lord Nithyanandeshwara (Moolavar) in both morning and evening sessions. These devotional acts are complemented by Bhoga Murty Alankaram, where sacred clothing and jewels are reverently offered to the deities of Swamiji, Devi, and Shiva Meru. The Deity Procession ritualistically welcomed the Bhoga Murthy deities into the main temple area, symbolizing the grand reception of the divine presence.
The conclusion of the day involved the offering of Naivedhyam (sacred food) to all the deities in the evening, ensuring the nourishment of the divine and the devotees. The daily schedule concluded with Palliyarai Seva, the sacred process of putting the deities to sleep with Chamaram (fly-whisk service). This continuous cycle of worship, prayer, and devotion, meticulously conducted by dedicated service teams—including the single volunteer reported for this day—is fundamental to KAILASA Houston's function as a pillar of the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma and provides a vital connection point for the Hindu diaspora in the United States.
