With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Houston, USA celebrated its sacred daily schedule of Daily Rituals (Nithyotsavam) on Friday, September 27, 2024. This profound continuation of ancient Hindu tradition ensured that devotees could continuously manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva, aligning with THE SPH’s global mission. The day’s activities were comprehensive, spanning from the early morning Suprapātam Seva and intensive Nithyananda Yoga & Nithya Dhyan session in the Brahmamuhurta, through the mid-day Guru Puja and Shiva Puja, concluding with the reverential Palliyarai Seva. These daily sacred services, meticulously executed by dedicated volunteers, form the backbone of KAILASA’s effort to revive the enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization.

KAILASA HOUSTON DAILY TEMPLE ACTIVITIES

The sacred daily temple schedule, known as Nithyotsavam, commenced in the auspicious hours of the Brahmamuhurta, signifying the commitment of KAILASA Houston to the highest Hindu spiritual technologies. Devotees gathered early for the Nithyananda Yoga & Nithya Dhyan session, which included the practice of 108 Prathama Vinyasa Krama, preparing their bodies and minds to receive the divine grace of THE SPH. This internal process of awakening consciousness preceded the external service of Suprapātam Seva, the ritualistic process of rousing the temple deities, symbolically affirming the awakening of divinity within every human being and setting a blessed trajectory for the day.

The temple environment was sanctified throughout the morning and afternoon with meticulous attention to detail, maintaining the authenticity of Hindu rituals. This included Bhoga Murty Alankāram, where ceremonial clothing and jewels were offered to the deities, including the representations of THE SPH (Swamiji), Devi, and the sacred Shiva Meru. Following the Alankāram, a ritualistic Deity Procession formally welcomed the Bhoga Murthy deities into the main temple area, executed with grand reverence as prescribed by ancient Hindu traditions. Two dedicated volunteers ensured the smooth and flawless execution of all these sacred services, manifesting selfless service towards the ultimate goal of human consciousness awakening.

Central to the entire day’s worship was the performance of Sri Guru Puja offered to THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH) BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, and Sri Shiva Puja offered to the presiding deity, Lord Nithyanandeshwara (Moolavar), conducted both in the morning and evening. These powerful pujas act as a direct channel, enabling devotees to connect with THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva in their lives. The cycle of worship concluded in the evening with Naivedyam, the offering of consecrated food to all the deities, followed by Palliyarai Seva, the sacred process of putting the deities to rest using the Chamaram, ensuring a complete and powerful daily revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma.
