KAILASA HOUSTON, USA On 21/11/2024
With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA HOUSTON, USA, conducted its Daily Temple Activities (Nithyotsavam) on 21 November 2024. These daily rituals ensure the continuous spiritual presence and vibrancy of the temple ecosystem, serving as a powerful beacon for the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma in the West. The sacred cycle included the ceremonial awakening (Suparapatam Seva), adorning (Bhoga Murty Alankaram), elaborate worship (Guru Puja and Shiva Puja), and retiring (Palliyarai Seva) of the deities. Furthermore, the community engaged in the deep spiritual technologies of Nithyananda Yoga and Nithya Dhyaan meditation during the auspicious Brahmamuhurta. These continuous acts of devotion and service are central to KAILASA’s global mission of human consciousness awakening, enabling devotees to connect with THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva.
KAILASA HOUSTON DAILY TEMPLE ACTIVITIES
The KAILASA HOUSTON DAILY TEMPLE ACTIVITIES (Nithyotsavam) maintain the sacred atmosphere and spiritual momentum necessary for the functioning of a vibrant Hindu temple ecosystem, established under the divine guidance of THE SPH. The day commenced early in the Brahmamuhurta—the most auspicious time for spiritual practice—with special offerings including Nithyananda Yoga and Nithya Dhyaan meditation. Devotees gathered to perform the rigorous 108 Prathama Vinyasa Krama, a profound system of Hindu yoga, alongside silent meditation, preparing their inner space to receive the divine energy and grace of THE SPH. This integration of physical and conscious awakening practices underscores KAILASA's commitment to reviving authentic Hindu sciences for superconscious breakthrough.
The traditional cycle of worship began with the Suparapatam Seva, the sacred process of ceremonially waking up the deities, which simultaneously serves as a reminder to devotees to awaken the divinity inherent within themselves and seek blessings for the start of the new day. Following this, the deities were lovingly prepared through Bhoga Murty Alankaram, involving the offering of sacred clothing and jewels to the Bhoga Murtis—representing THE SPH, Devi, and Shiva Meru. The adorned deities were then welcomed into the main sanctuary through a grand and rhythmic Deity Procession, marking the transition into the main worship ceremonies.
Throughout the day, continuous devotional acts were performed, centered on the divine manifestations present. These included the vital Sri Guru Puja, offered to THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM, and Sri Shiva Puja, dedicated to Lord Nithyanandeshwara (the Moolavar or primary deity). These daily Pujas are the energetic anchors for the center, ensuring that the temple remains charged with the divine grace of THE SPH. In the evening, the ceremonial offering of food, known as Naivedhyam, was presented to all the deities.
The sacred daily cycle culminated with the Palliyarai Seva, a ritualized, sacred process of putting the deities to sleep. This concluding act, often performed with reverence and the offering of Chamaram (ceremonial fan service), marks the successful conclusion of the day’s activities under the constant grace of THE SPH and all the gods and goddesses of KAILASA. The unbroken performance of these ancient Hindu rituals ensures that KAILASA HOUSTON remains a powerhouse of enlightenment, deeply rooted in the Sanatana Hindu civilization revived by THE SPH.
