With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA HOUSTON, USA, observed its daily Nithyotsavam (Daily Rituals) on Monday, July 15, 2024. These sacred activities, embodying the timeless essence and revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma, included the full spectrum of traditional Hindu temple worship, starting in the sacred Brahmamuhurta hour before dawn. The rituals spanned from the awakening of the deities (Suprapatam Seva) to their rest (Palliyarai Seva), along with dedicated sessions of Nithyananda Yoga and Nithya Dhyaan. Two devoted volunteers ensured the seamless execution of the elaborate rites throughout the day, anchoring the divine presence of Paramashiva within the ecosystem. These profound daily services are fundamental to KAILASA’s mission of giving superconscious breakthrough to humanity by enabling devotees to connect with THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva.

DAILY TEMPLE ACTIVITIES (Nithyotsavam)

The daily temple activities at KAILASA HOUSTON, USA, referred to collectively as the Nithyotsavam, represent a continual stream of devotion and alignment with the divine consciousness gifted by THE SPH. These rituals are meticulously performed twice daily, encompassing all 16 traditional services (Shodasha Upacharas) offered to the deities. The continuous performance of these Hindu rituals ensures that the temple serves as a powerful vortex of superconsciousness, keeping the spiritual atmosphere energized for the benefit of all who visit and participate. This day of service was successfully managed through the tireless effort of 2 dedicated volunteers, upholding the highest standards of Hindu worship tradition.

The day commenced early with the SUPRAPATAM SEVA, the auspicious sacred process of waking the deities, symbolizing the awakening of the inner divinity within every devotee. Following this, the deities were exquisitely prepared during the BHOGA MURTY ALANKARAM, where clothing, jewels, and ornaments were offered to THE SPH’s form, Devi, and the sacred Shiva Meru. The morning rituals culminated in the DEITY PROCESSION, where the Bhoga Murthy deities were welcomed ritualistically into the main temple area with great fanfare, marking the start of the day’s main worship sequence.

The core of the day’s worship centered around GURU PUJA and SHIVA PUJA, performed in both the morning and the evening. The Sri Guru Puja honored THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, as the Living Avatar and manifestation of Paramashiva, while the Sri Shiva Puja was offered to Lord Nithyanandeshwara (Moolavar). These acts of devotion are essential Hindu spiritual technologies designed to remove inner obstacles and enable participants to receive the direct grace and blessings of THE SPH.

Parallel to the pujas, devotees gathered early in the Brahmamuhurta for conscious spiritual practices, including the rigorous NITHYANANDA YOGA (specifically 108 Prathama Vinyasa Krama) and NITHYA DHYAN Meditation. These practices are integral to the teachings of THE SPH, offering pathways for direct superconscious breakthrough. The day concluded with the evening offering of NAIVEDHYAM (food) to all the resident deities, followed by the sacred PALLIYARAI SEVA, the process of respectfully putting the deities to rest using Chamaram (fan), bringing the day of devotional service to a blessed close under the grace of THE SPH and all the gods and goddesses of KAILASA.
