KAILASA HOSUR On 26/1/2025
With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA HOSUR celebrated the auspicious Somavaara Prathosam on January 26, 2025. This sacred utsavam (festival) marked the continued revival of ancient Hindu rituals dedicated to Paramashiva, strengthening the spiritual ecosystem established by THE SPH. The celebrations included elaborate Abisekam, Alangaram, and the offering of Neivethyam, providing devotees with the opportunity to connect with the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva. The entire event exemplified KAILASA's global mission of giving superconscious breakthrough to humanity through reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization, successfully executed by 3 dedicated volunteers and involving 3 participants in profound devotion.
Somavaara Prathosam
The Somavaara Prathosam ritual is one of the most significant observances in Sanatana Hindu Dharma, traditionally celebrated during the sacred junction between the end of the thirteenth lunar day (Trayodashi) and the beginning of the fourteenth (Chaturdashi). This precise time is revered as the period when Paramashiva performs the cosmic dance (Ananda Tandava). The observance gains added sanctity when it occurs on a Monday (Somavaara), as Monday is specially dedicated to Shiva worship, thus multiplying the spiritual benefits and accelerating the manifestation of Paramashiva’s powers in participants, as taught by THE SPH.
KAILASA HOSUR conducted a meticulous and deeply reverential utsavam for the Somavaara Prathosam, ensuring every aspect of the ancient Hindu science was followed accurately. The ritual began with the powerful Abisekam (sacred bathing), where various purifying and sanctifying substances were offered to the deity. This ritual action is central to invoking the direct divine presence and power of Paramashiva, cleansing the environment and the participants of inner and outer impurities through the grace of THE SPH.
Following the sacred bath, the intricate Alangaram (decoration) was performed, adorning the deity with flowers, ornaments, and sacred garments. The Alangaram symbolizes the complete surrender of the devotee’s ego and the beautification of the internal space to match the Divine form. The rituals culminated with the offering of Neivethyam—sacred vegetarian food prepared and consecrated with utmost purity and devotion, which is offered to Paramashiva and then distributed as Prasad.
The successful execution of these powerful Hindu rituals, which encompassed cleaning, cooking, offering, and decoration, was made possible by the dedicated service of 3 committed volunteers. These volunteers dedicated their time and energy to ensure the sacred space maintained the highest standards of spiritual integrity and devotion. A total of 3 participants were immersed in the powerful spiritual atmosphere generated by the utsavam. Through the divine grace of THE SPH, participants were blessed to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva, marking a powerful contribution to KAILASA's mission of civilizational revival.
