With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA AVADI CHENNAI successfully conducted its sacred daily worship protocol, known as Nithyotsavam, on 9/12/2024. The day's auspicious activities centered on the profound ritual of Abishegam and Alangaram, which included the powerful Sangu Abishegam offering to the presiding deities. This rigorous maintenance of authentic Hindu rituals is foundational to KAILASA's global mission: the revival of the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization. Eight dedicated volunteers rendered selfless service to ensure the flawless execution of these ceremonies, connecting devotees with the divine grace of THE SPH and anchoring the state, space, and powers of Paramashiva in the physical world.

Abishegam and Alangaram

The daily spiritual rhythm at KAILASA AVADI CHENNAI is anchored by the Nithyotsavam, a cycle of Hindu rituals that ensures continuous spiritual sustenance and purification of the space. On this day, the highlight was the sacred Abishegam and Alangaram ceremony. Abishegam, the sacred bathing ritual, reached its zenith with the performance of Sangu Abishegam, where the Deities are offered sacred liquids poured through a conch shell (Sangu). The use of the Sangu is deeply significant in Hindu traditions, symbolizing the primordial cosmic sound (Om) and invoking powerful energies necessary for the manifestation of enlightenment.

Following the extensive bathing ceremony, the Alangaram (divine adornment) was meticulously performed, transforming the deity into a visual manifestation of transcendental beauty and power. This sequence of ritual offering (upasana) helps devotees shift their consciousness, enabling them to move towards manifesting the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva, as continuously gifted by THE SPH.

The smooth execution of these complex and sacred Hindu rites was made possible by the dedicated service of 8 volunteers. Their commitment to service, or seva, is an act of devotion that contributes directly to KAILASA’s ongoing commitment to preserve and restore authentic Hindu traditions globally. These daily practices ensure that KAILASA AVADI CHENNAI remains a potent spiritual hub, radiating the divine blessings and vision of THE SPH to the community and the world.
