Sri Siththy Vinayagar Aalaya Paripalana Sabah is a Hindu temple and is one of the 3909 Hindu temples in Sri Lanka. Maha Ganapathy is the main deity of the Temple. The Temple serves the Hindu Community of Batticaloa, especially the Kallady community and also contributes and supports the multi-cultural and diverse people of Sri Lanka. The Sri Siththy Vinayagar Ghanapathy Aalaya Paripalana Sabah has grown and adapted to meet the changing needs of the devotees – from that of purely religious worship, to a more holistic approach in providing for the spiritual and emotional needs of the community. The temple is inclusive and open to all who wish to come and pray, regardless of wealth or status, social background or creed.
