Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism HDH Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam

Narration

SPH continued his Varanasi yatra with the group. On 8th Jan the group reached Triveni Sangam of Allahabad. The group along with Swamij took the ferry to the sacred spot of Triveni sangam. Triveni sangam is the place where the three sacred rivers of Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswathi meet. After quickly setting up the place for all the rituals, SPH sat with the group at the Triveni sangam. Swamiji explained that the three sacred rivers - Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswathi meet at this place. Ganga stands for Wisdom while Yamuna stands for Devotion. When Wisdom and Devotion merge, Enlightenment automatically happens, and here river Saraswathi stands for Enlightenment.

Later SPH performed pooja at this sacred place and offered the ashes in the river Ganga, and then the river Yamuna and then the river Saraswathi.

Later SPH along with the group visited Sarnath, the first place where Gautam Buddha delivered His message to the public.
