Glimpses Makara Sankranti - Kanumu Festival at Kailasa Hyderabad at Sripuram Sarvajnapeetam - 2023 The third day of the festival 16 th February is Kanumu. Where the Cows are decorated and worshipped Gow Puja as an expression of gratitude. and Pongal is cooked in the mud pot and offered to Cows as Naivedyam. And fed to cows. With the Blessings of Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism(SPH), His Divine Holiness(HDH), Jagatguru Mahasannidanam(JGM), Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam, the festival is celebrated grandly with much pompous and funfare.
