Ginger Citrus Rice

Ingredients

1. Ghee - 2 tblsp 2. Ginger root, minced - 2 tblsp 3. Ground cumin - 1/2 tsp 4. Water - 4 cups 5. Basmati rice - 2 cups 6. Salt - 2 tsp 7. Lime - 1

Preparation

1. In saucepan over medium heat, heat ghee until very hot.

2. Add ginger root and ground cumin and cook for 1 minute.

3. Add 4 cups water and bring to a boil.

4. Stir in rice and salt.

5. Reduce heat to low; cover and cook 15 to 18 minutes until all water is absorbed and rice is tender.

6. Stir in lime juice and offer hot.
