Dhyana Shloka:
शुक्लापम् शुभलोचनम् दूर्वांकुरम् दक्शिणे वामेशूल कपाल सम्युतकरम् सत्पादुकम् पादयोः ।
लम्बत् पिङ्ग जटाधरम् शशिधरम् दक्शे मृगम् वामहे भिक्शा पात्रधरम् सकुण्डपिठरम् भिक्शाटनेशम् भजे ॥
śuklāpam śubhalocanam dūrvāṃkuram dakśiṇe vāmeśūla kapāla samyutakaram satpādukam pādayoḥ । lambat piṅga jaṭādharam śaśidharam dakśe mṛgam vāmahe bhikśā pātradharam sakuṇḍapiṭharam bhikśāṭaneśam bhaje ॥
Smeared in white, with good omen in eyes, fingers with grass to the right, with shUla and kapAla in the left lands, nice wear (pAduka) in feet, with dangling red matted hair, moon on the head, deer (mR^igam) in the right hand, a vessel for alms in the left, with bulged belly, that God, on bhikshAtana, we pray.

Description of the deity:
The R^ishis in dArukAvanam forest, once thought that only the karma(deed, performing rituals) is supreme and it is not required to pray to God at all. They stopped worshipping God. Whatever be the deeds, isn't there One Who provides the doer with the fruits ? How can the inanimate deeds automatically give fruit ? Not realizing these facts the R^iShis pursued their dogma of karma. To teach them the importance of worship Lord Shiva took the form of bhikshAtanar (begger) and mahA vishNu the form of mOhini. In this form the Lord is naked and quite enchanting. So was the mohini. The Naked Lord came to the streets of the R^iShis to get alms. (Does the God, Who is the provider of all wealth, need to beg ? The playful Lord, while providing the supreme wealth for those who worship, went to beg as if He has nothing !) At the charm of the naked Lord Shiva the wives of the R^ishis lost their heart. They forgot what they were doing and started simply following the Naked God. Meanwhile the R^ishis also forgot the karma they were strongly advocating and followed mOhini.

When they got to see their wives - the followers of karmic discipline, lost their virtue and following a Naked Beggar, they got angry with Lord Shiva and vishNu and started targeting their power of the karmas towards the Lord, by performing the abhichAra yAgam which will produce bad effects. They directed the snakes, demon, tiger, fire and drum that came out of the fire against the Lord. What can hurt the Supreme Who is the Source of everything. He coolly made them his ornaments! Now the R^iShis realized their stupidity and realized that God is the supreme and not the karma.

The SPH initiated the delegates attending the convention intoopening the 3 layers of energy that that every human being has by birth, and then led them to experience the higher states of consciousness. The Paramavatara of Paramashiva, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam explained that the first layer is day-to-day activities. Second layer is emergency layer. Third layer is spiritual layer. All these three are connected. The way to reach the third layer is there only in the throat chakra, throat centre. On this day 13 years before - 28 February 2009:
On this day, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism (SPH) Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam organized and conducted the 4th day of the Nithyananda Spurana Convention held in Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. The Convention received thousands of delegates so much so, that the convention hall was overflowing. Thousands of people had gathered in order to receive the Darshan the Nijavatara of Paramashiva, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam.

SPH also personally served food to all the delegates, giving them thus the opportunity to receive the sanctified प्रसाद (prasāda) straight from His hands. Prasada, (Sanskrit: “favour” or “grace”) in Hinduism, food and water offered to a deity during worship (puja). The deity partakes of and then returns the offering, thereby consecrating it. The offering is then distributed and eaten by the worshippers. The efficacy of the prasada comes from its having been touched by the deity. Food left by a Guru is considered prasada by the guru’s followers, as the Guru is a living god.

It stems from the concept that our body is the shell of our consciousness which is consciously and wilfully developed and designed by our will. This truth forms the basis of Indian medicinal systems (Siddha and Ayurveda) and the whole Samundrika Lakshana. By studying the physical set up, the revelation of the mental set up is revealed. This theory forms the basis of yoga. SPH explained that the Yoga masters have done amazing research on how every thought works on our system. Altering the mind by altering the body's dimension is yoga. Altering the structure of the body by understanding the mind is Samundrika Lakshana. If we alter our body, major samskaras of our system can be uprooted.

On the auspicious day of Maha Paramashivaratri, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism (SPH) Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam expounded on the glorious context of this day. SPH beautifully narrated that Maha Shivaratri was the day Mahadeva assumed form, from his formless space. Mahadeva existed eternally, he exists eternally but on this day, he entered into the space of form from formlessness. He created Brahma and Vishnu, empowered Brahma to create, Vishnu to maintain; he continued to remain in the formless space. But, when there was a conflict between these two he had to resolve the conflict. So, to resolve the conflict between these two, on this very day on Maha Shivaratri, Mahadeva assumed the form which can be perceived by Brahma and Vishnu. So, just to resolve the conflict between these two, Mahadeva assumed the form.
