Asp Coimbatore Prison

An acharya (ordained teacher) of Dhyanapeetam conducted the Ananda Spurana Program (ASP) for the prisoners of the Central prison in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu.

The meditation sessions and the discourses proved to be a deep experience to the participants. Sharing their experiences during the program and at the end of it, they expressed tremendous gratitude for the awakening through the program. The superintendent and DIG of the prison requested that the meditation programme be conducted once a month as it showed great improvement in the participants.

One of the prisoners who attended the program was so inspired that he declared that when he is released from the prison, he would embrace spiritual life catching the thread of inner bliss that he had imbibed from the program. The others who were in depression felt relaxed and blissful after the meditation program.
