When you stop eating solid food and start juicing, your body’s innate intelligence to produce everything needed for you to be healthy starts happening. Any medicine, chemical, hormones, enzymes needed for your body to be healthy, your body is capable of producing it. My guru Raghupathi Yogi used to tell me, ‘don’t go to a doctor who does not to give you information on what to eat.’ all medicines work only with diet. If there is a system encouraging you to eat whatever you want and gives you a pill, that system is exploiting you. It is not interested in healing you, it is interested only in keeping you as a customer.

The fire in your stomach is capable of burning all the diseases you have. Sacrifice the violent way of eating. I have seen people eat to show their supremacy, or with the stupid idea that we work for food. The right to exist is questioned. People associate food and sex with being more powerful. No! If you are able to produce what you need inside your body without any dependency, then you are powerful! My guru used to tell me there is an intra organ on the sahasrara which is capable of producing nectar – the amritadhara, that can completely heal your body and keep you alive forever. But that organ needs to be kept alive and awakened by the fire in the stomach. That fire should reach the crown center. But you don’t allow even the stomach to feel the hunger because you dump so much junk food. Do not eat till your sahasrara feels the need to eat. That is Tyaga.

Mayor Carolyn Kay Riggle also thanks the local members of the Nithyanandeshwara Hindu Temple Ohio for their continuing outreach and support to the City of Delaware. The SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam first visited Ohio in 2003 during His World Vijayayatra. During His second visit in 2004, The Governor of Ohio — Robert Alphonso Taft III conferred a proclamation to The SPH. The SPH gave a breakthrough discourse at the Bhartya Hindu Temple on “Laughter is Meditation” at Powell, Ohio on Aug 17, 2004. The SPH had subsequent Vijayayatras to Ohio in 2005, 2006 and 2007, visiting temples, churches, corporate world where He delivered discourses on the powerful truths of the Vedas and Agamas.

The first KAILASA temple, KAILASA Ohio was inaugurated on April 14 2007. The SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam personally performed the Prana Pratishta (consecration) of the deities of Valli, Deveshena, Subramanian, Lakshmi, Ganesha, Mooshika and Nandi. The SPH came back to Ohio in 2009 and installed the deities of Sai Baba & Ram Parivar. He conducted multiple life empowering programs such as the Life Bliss Program (LBP). The SPH conducted the first LPB ever conducted in a prison - Ohio Women’s Reformatory - in June 2009.

Since 2003, 110,000 hrs of volunteer hours have been recorded towards the following (non-exhaustive list):

-Over 2000 Ohio Residents participated in free Programs (2009-2012)
-75 free corporate meditation conducted for more than 700 people including at Bank One, Cardinal Health, Nationwide, American Electric Power, Ohio State University, Ohio Wesleyan University, Ohio University, Whittenburg (2007-2012)
-25 Free Nithya Yoga Classes conducted benefitting 350 people (2007-2012)
-34 Free online programs conducted including meditation and prayer for world peace to more than 500 people (2007-2012)
-Over 100 free meditation and yoga classes provided to inmates at Ohio Reformatory for Women (over 2 years) (2007-2012)
-17 Specialty wellness workshops on Yoga/Wellness, Stress, Ayurveda, Sattvic Cooking and Weight Loss conducted
-Over 17,520 of temple rituals conducted
-Chanting classes to 53, 200 people conducted
-184 sessions of free on-line Akashic reading conducted for 500+ people
-272 Meditation/meet up classes conducted for 685 people
-Offered free meals to 25K people
-5000 spiritual discourse conducted
