Nithya Dhyaan, a 3 day satsang-meditation-darshan program was conducted by His Divine Holiness Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam (HDH) at Bangalore, India from 20th-23rd December 2007. On Day 2 of the event HDH delivered a discourse on how we store engraved memories in the various layers of the seven bodies that we have. The first layer or the physical layer carries the memories which draw us to tamas or tendency to be lazy. This is responsible for the chronic fatigue and tiredness. Similarly, the other layers are responsible for desires reflected in the breathing, guilt which draws us to the past, pain which we strengthen by remembrance. These first four layers can be cleansed through meditation. The remaining 3 deeper layers are related to deep sleep, meditation which gives a glimpse of the bliss and finally, nirvana or the ultimate bliss. These deeper three layers are cleansed when the first four get cleansed.

The intellectual understanding was then followed by an experiential understanding as HDH guided the participants through a special meditation. This was then followed by energy darshan – a touch of the divine energy and answering of personal questions if any, to one and all.

Earlier in the day HDH also met with the Aadheenavasis at AdiKailasa and spent some quality time with them. He also met with devotees coming from Tiruvannamalai his hometown, and received prasadam from Arunachaleshwara temple.
