Curd Rice 1

Ingredients

1. Cooked rice - 6 cups 2. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp 3. Plain yogurt - 3 cups 4. Sour Cream - 1/4 Cup 5. Curry leaves - 10 6. Dry red chilly, chopped finely - 3 7. Coriander leaves, chopped - 2 tsp 8. Ginger, chopped finely - 1 tsp. 9. Asafoetida - 1 Pinch 10. Salt according to taste 11. Ghee - 1 tsp

Preparation

1. Cook the rice.

2. In a wide pan, spread cooked rice and add sour cream and yogurt to it and mix well.

3. In a little ghee fry the asafetida, curry leaves, green chilies, ginger, red chili, mustard seeds and other remaining ingredients.

4. When mustard seeds start to splutter turn off the heat and transfer the contents of the pan into the yogurt mixed rice.

5. Mix well and add scant little water if required.
