BRAHMANDA MANTRA: THE COSMIC INVITATION

Glimpses from today's Meenakshi Chittirai Brahmotsavam in Adi Kailasa Sarvajnapeetham, Bengaluru, illustrating the echoes of Brahmanda Mantra as the flag is hoisted, marking the official inauguration of the Brahmotsavam.

The Brahmanda mantra invites the beings of the parallel universe, of the 14 lokas of the vertical timezone to participate in our Brahmotsavam.

As Hindus, we identify ourselves with the entire cosmos ( Brahmanda ) in complete oneness. We also have methods to access other lokas and various beings of the vertical timezone. We do not alienise them.

With the realisation that we are all ultimately Paramashiva, rooted in the same consciousness, we celebrate the grand cosmic event in the form of this Brahmotsavam, commencing today.

KAILASA's Meenakshi Chittirai Brahmotsavam dhwajarohanam ( flag-hoisting )

KAILASA's Meenakshi Chittirai Brahmotsavam dhwajarohanam ( flag-hoisting ) ceremony concluded gracefully, concurrent with Madurai today.

The Meenakshi brahmotsavam marks the advent of the divine feminine consciousness which manifests as Devi Meenakshi. Thousands of years ago back, Devi Kanchanamala and the Pandya king Malayadhwaja had prayed fervently for a heir to the mighty Pandya kingdom.

The Rajaguru, Agastya muni suggested the king perform a Putrakameshti yaga, a ritual which would bestow the king with a heir to the kingdom and the throne.

Devi Kanchanamala, in her previous birth as Vidyavati was a very ardent devotee of Devi Parvati. Pleased with her penance Paramashivashakti appeared in front of her as a small girl. Vidyavati asked for a boon for Devi to be born as her daughter in the very form in which She had appeared in front of her.

The Pandya king Malayadhwaja along with his queen Devi Kanchanamala performed the Putrakameshti yaga. Upon purnahuti offering, a 3 year old girl, dark complexioned with a slight green hue, radiant with the aura of the full moon. Paramashivashakti manifested in this form of tataatakaa to bring auspiciousness and enlightenment to the whole world.

Temple festivals are reffered to as 'utsavam’ and the grand ones are called ‘brahmotsavam’. The sanskrit word ‘utsava’ denotes an act of creation or re-creation. If we study the features of the Brahmotsavam, we will find that more than any other temple festival, the brahmotsavam would essentially be a festival of re-creation.

A Brahmotsavam is an utsavam or a festival that is organized Lord brahma himself. Brahma being the creator of the cosmos is said to organize such a festival with universal grandeur and celebration.

Dhvajarohanam is the ritual which marks the start of the Brahmotsavam. it is a very sacred ritual wherein the dhvaja (flag) is hoisted on the dhvajastambha (flag pole).

Once that happens, paramashiva and paramashivashakti as Soma-Sundareshwara and Meenakshi along with all beings of the the 14 lokas land very intensely and powerfully in the temple premise to celebrate the brahmostavam.

In the Kamika Agama, Uttara Pada, Mahotasava Vidhih, verse 1 , Paramashiva reveals:

utsavaṁ saṁpravakṣyāmi yathāvadanupūrvakam| dhvajārohovarohāntā kriyā utsava ucyate||

The activities which take place from the beginning of flag-hoisting to the lowering of the flag go by the collective name ‘utsava’

On this day 17 years before - 05 April 2005:
On this day, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism (SPH) Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam conducted the Q & A with Gujarat Samaj On Meditation, Enlightenment, Peace and Hinduism , in Oklahoma, USA. SPH expounded on the values of meditation and death. SPH explained that Meditation helps in living a blissful and successful life in both the inner world and outer world. Meditation creates energy in all levels of physical,mental,emotional and being level. It enables us to reach higher dimensions of life. While dying if we are spiritual we will have a peaceful death. SPH further shared that whatever we think in the last moment of the death decides our next birth.

On this day 16 years before - 05 April 2006:
On this day, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam continued on the Series of Addresses and Initiations from the Shiva Sutras(the techniques that were given by Shiva Himself to Devi for her enlightenment) in Columbus, Ohio. There He was received by the Kailasa in Ohio Sangha with all the traditional respects and honors. After the discourse the delegates had the rare opportunity to receive directly the blessings of SPH through His Darshan and to receive the most precious gift a disciple can receive, the Guru Bhakti.

On this day 14 years before - 05 April 2008:
On this day, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam supervised the measurement of the land of Kailasa in Tiruvannamalai Arunachala Sarvajnapeetham. Later that day SPH had an internal meeting with all the volunteers and Kailasavasis who were administering the whole construction project in which He listened to all their queries around the whole project and gave further instructions for it’s conclusion. Running parallel on that day and under the direct guidance of SPH His initiated acharyas held a kiosk in a Book faire in which they also conducted the meditation processes provided by SPH.

On this day 10 years before - 05 April 2012:
On this day, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam visited the Kailasa in Tiruvannamalai Arunachala Sarvajnapeetham. Later that day SPH visited the Arunachalesvara Temple where He was received by the priests with all the traditional honors, especially the Poorna Kumbha, the highest royal honorary offering given to a guest in Hindu tradition. Many Crores of people had gathered in order to receive the Darshan the Nijavatara of Paramashiva, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam, with each of them celebrating and bringing various kinds of offerings to SPH. The celebration was one of a kind, and the number of people was simply staggering. SPH popularity was growing exponentially as everyone could see that He would become the one who would be the JagatGuru of the whole world.

On this day, the SPH elaborated on how to have success in life by practicing Advaita. SPH explained that people think that everything ends in victory but in fact, their understanding of victory comes from a space of violence, incompletion and grabbing from others, as such whether they win or lose, they will be taking another birth from this karma only. On the other hand, Advaita is success. SPH further shared more on how to be successful through expansion, creativity and completion and encouraged all not accept victory if they can’t have success from Advaita. Later that day SPH visited the Maha Kaala BHairava in the holy city of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India.

On this day 7 years before - 05 April 2015:
On this day, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism (SPH), Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam conducted the Nithya Dhyana Yoga (NDY) Day 02. SPH conducted various sessions for the benefit f the delegates, aiming at giving the maximum result in this tight poacked convention. The delegates participateed in the SHivoham meditation process in which SPH gave them the experience of ‘’Shivoham’’-I am Paramashivam. On the topic of the Shivoham process SPH had previously shared that the low and powerless inner image is the result of forgetting the original state of Sadashivatva – the space of being Sadashiva. SPH explained that the only way this state can be remembered again and again is when the powers of Sadashiva are manifested.

On this day 6 years before - 05 April 2016:
On this day, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam began the preparations for the Kumbha Mela that was going to happen in Ujain. On this day’s Presidential Address-Nithyananda Satsang SPH explained that the Kumbh Mela Preparations were happening in full swing. 108 Deities were being carefully packed and shipped to Ujjain to Bless all and celebrate Kumbh Mela. SPH shared that all their vastram, jewels, vahanas, and more items which were made just for them at Sacred Arts University, were getting packed also. Day and night the volunteers and Sannyasis were packing and there was a great excitement to seeing the truckloads leaving the Campus for the holy gathering of Kumbha Mela in Ujain.

On this day 5 years before - 05 April 2017:
On this day, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam conducted the graduation for the delegates of the Nithyananda Yogam convention. Aditionaly the inauguration of the next btch (the Ramanavami Batch) was conducted by SPH on the same day. Both the graduation and the inauguration took place in the Courtyard of Adi Kailasa, where the delegates had a session with SPH in which they got initiated the powers of the third eye by applyong the alchemy product of Jnanajana that SPH produced exactly as per the Agamas. Runnin parallel on that day the Nithyanandam Kids Porgram was taking place in Adi Kailasa, where the initiated acharyas of SPH, prepared with a lot of care the youth to receive the Darshan and Initiations of SPH.

On this day, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam presided over the Day 5 of the most awaited Mahasadashivoham Convention at the Bengaluru Aadheenam. Additionally on that day SPH went on a Yatra to the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple. There many devotees and worshippers welcomed Him and watched with deep reverence as SPH made his entrance to the temple and payed His respects to Bhagavan Shridi Sai Baba.

On this day 2 years before - 05 April 2020:
KAILASA's Department of Information Broadcasting, in collaboration with SHRIKAILASA Uniting Nations for Peacekeeping,, re-telecasted the Nithyananda Satsangtitled ‘’Maha Ganapati Is Real and Available’’ revealed by The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism (SPH) Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam. SPH had shared in this Satsang that how intensely you feel you are alive, much more instely Lord Ganapathi is alive. SPH described Lord Ganapathi as He is , with 25 elephant heads and 50 hands as Maha Ganapathi sitting now alive in KAILASA, and that He is available to all of us accepting all our devotion, prayers, respects and all the offerings being made. The Darshan for today was Paramashiva Bhava Samadhi Darshan. Contributing to over 108 Humanitarian Causes of SHRIKAILASA Uniting Nations, KAILASA's Nithyananda Hindu University marked that day as the Season 2, Day 1 of Paramashivoham. One of the major highlights of KAILASA’s contributions through this convention was Power Manifestation, which for that was the power of Increasing Height and the Maheshwara Puja that SPH offered for the benefit and liberation of all the departed souls.

On this day 1 years before - 05 April 2021:
On this day, the ambassadors and delegates of the Kailasa Nation received the Shakti Pada and the Shaktini Pada with the Live Darshan of the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam. On this day SPH’s message was that Liberating ourselves from the obsessive compulsive reactionary patterns and their suffocations is liberating ourselves from delusion. SPH explained that he greatest suffering is, identifying ourselves with our obsessive compulsive reactions and suffocations which we brings in our life. He shared that when we identify ourselves with our obsessive compulsive reactionary patterns, with all the suffocations that these patterns bring, and we start blaming everyone other than ourselves! This is the worst delusion in life. SPH further explained that when we listen to guruvak, not only we escape from all suffocations, side effects, after effects, we are also showered by all auspiciousness.
