April 04 20122012-04-04A man in a saffron-orange wrap leans forward with his forehead pressed against the trunk of a large tree, eyes closed, in an outdoor setting with dense green foliage behind him. His bare upper body shows a bead armlet and a red-brown bead necklace; his hair is tied in a bun. Thick grey-brown roots and trunk fill the left side of the frame.2012-04-04A man stands beside a large banyan tree trunk with aerial roots in an outdoor setting of green foliage. He is bare-chested and wears a saffron-yellow wrap with a thin light border, draped over his shoulder. He has a long rudraksha-style mala of reddish-brown beads and a gold armlet and bangle. A white horizontal line marks his forehead, and his dark hair is tied in a knot at the back. He stands with eyes closed, one hand raised near his temple in a meditative or contemplative pose. The appearance is consistent with the page's reference to a person, but the identity cannot be confirmed from appearance alone, so this is described as a devotee-like figure with ceremonial adornments.2012-04-04A man stands in profile beside the trunk of a large banyan tree, his forehead to the bark and eyes closed. He wears an orange and gold-bordered dhoti and a sleeveless orange-gold garment, with a long dark rudraksha mala around his neck and a white sandalwood mark on his forehead. His hair is tied back, and a thin orange thread hangs from a branch above. Green leaves and blurred trees fill the background, with an orange-brown ground at the base.2011-09-06 +1 copiesFebruary 10 20122012-02-10A man in saffron-orange draped robes with gold-bordered edges leans his forehead and right hand against the large buttressed trunk of a banyan tree, eyes closed in devotion. He wears a silver-coloured multi-strand necklace, silver arm bands and bracelets, and has long dark hair gathered in a knot at the back, with white vibhuti tilak on his forehead. His bare back and shoulder are visible, and the orange cloth is draped over one shoulder with a tassel. The setting is outdoors with blurred trees and soft light. Swamiji (probable): the saffron robes, silver jewellery, long swept-back hair and vibhuti cues are distinctive, and he is the only person shown.2011-12-25A photograph of a man in a saffron-yellow shawl with red border and red cloth wrap, standing in profile beside a large banyan tree with aerial roots. He wears a gold-toned necklace with red and beige beads, a gold armband, and a white tilak on his forehead. His long dark hair is swept back, and he rests one hand flat against the trunk in a reverent gesture, as in a tree-worship or pradakshina-style prayer. Dappled green foliage fills the background.2011-11-04A man with his hair tied in a bun and a vertical tilak on his forehead stands with eyes closed, forehead pressed against a large banyan tree with aerial roots. He wears an orange silk garment with gold border and maroon edging draped over one shoulder, orange dhoti, rudraksha mala necklaces, beaded armlets and wrist bands. Outdoors in warm sunlight with reddish earth and trees in the background. A faint circular logo appears in the upper left corner.2011-12-24A photograph of a man with long, swept-back dark hair and a bare upper torso wrapped in a saffron-orange shawl, standing in profile with eyes closed and his forehead pressed against the trunk of a large banyan-type tree.
