A seated row of devotees in saffron-orange dhotis and wraps sits cross-legged on the floor of a hall, eating from green banana-leaf plates set on a long row. Several men are bare-chested with rudraksha malas, sacred ash and white markings on their bodies; others wear white necklaces. Plates hold rice, yellow dal, banana slices, pappadum-like flatbreads, pickles, coconut and small bowls, with water bottles along the edge. Their eyes are closed or lowered in prayer-like composure. Behind them, framed portraits and photographs hang on pale pink walls, and a few people in white attire stand at the back.

A photograph of sannyasis seated cross-legged on a striped mat during a meal, eating from fresh green banana leaves. Several men wear saffron/orange cloth draped over the upper body with rudraksha malas and wrist beads; one man in the foreground wears wire-rimmed glasses and a bare upper body with a leopard-print cloth at the waist. Others in white dhotis with gold borders sit to the left, one with a tilak mark on the forehead. Each leaf holds rice, fried snacks, sweet and savoury preparations and a small dish. The scene shows an annadan-style communal meal in an open hall. No individual is identified.

Three shaven-headed monks in saffron-orange robes and rudraksha malas sit cross-legged on a white-covered floor before banana-leaf plates of food on low wooden tables. The centre monk, with a wristwatch, holds his palms together in anjali, while the monk on the right, wearing spectacles, speaks with hands clasped. Behind them, a seated audience of about 40 people wears white clothes with red shawls, many sitting attentively in a bright hall. Water bottles and small steel bowls sit on the tables.
