Photo 11710105Four people in saffron-orange sannyasi robes sit on ornate gold-carved thrones on a striped multicoloured mat in a hall with a wall-mounted air conditioner and red curtains. The leftmost man speaks into a handheld microphone, with dark hair wrapped in a turban-style bun and a rudraksha mala. The other three wear beaded necklaces and garlands, and the seated figures have white and red tilaka markings. A golden lion figure stands in the foreground, a gold-tipped staff rises on the right, and striped kalasha-style banners hang behind the thrones. The clothing and throne setting suggest a formal satsang. No individual is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance alone.2017-02-12 +1 copiesOctober 19 20132013-10-19September 16 20152015-09-16 +1 copiesA stage event with a deity murti seated on a gilded throne at the left, decorated with green foliage. Centre, a man in a saffron-orange turban and rudraksha mala sits on a raised golden peetha draped with a tiger-print cloth, flanked by brass kalasha-style vessels. Beside him at left, a bald man in brown-and-gold robes with a golden shawl and beaded garland sits with hands on knees. Four young women in orange-saffron garments with beaded necklaces sit at right with palms pressed in namaskar, and a young woman at far left holds her hands in anjali. Red curtains, brass lamps and a striped woven mat complete the setting.2017-02-14Photograph of a stage event with three seated men on ornate gold thrones with red cushions and golden lion armrests. On the left, a smiling man in saffron robes wears a flower garland and a crown-like headpiece; in the centre, a seated figure in orange robes with a red headcloth and rudraksha mala sits on a lower gold seat; on the right, a man in a crown, floral garland and reddish-brown robes speaks into a microphone while raising a fist. Behind them stand large painted guardian statues with multiple arms holding maces, and a red and gold carpet covers the platform.2012-04-27Photo 11710172A photograph of a stage in a hall with maroon curtains and a wall air-conditioner. A large ornate gold throne sits at right, occupied by a seated person wearing orange robes, a crown-like orange turban, and layered rudraksha malas; this figure's appearance is uncertain, so the role is given as a seated figure on the throne. Four people in orange robes sit on smaller gold-and-red thrones in a row at left-centre, each with beads, and a woman in a purple and multicolour sari sits at the far right edge. Between them stand a gold cow statue, a trident, and a decorated kalasha-like pillar. A gold deity figure is set in the upper right, and a golden decorative arch frames the main throne. The stage is covered with a colourful patterned rug.2017-02-02April 27 20122012-04-27October 13 20132013-10-13A photograph of a satsang hall decorated for a festival, with a golden ornate throne at the centre and a figure seated on it wearing a red garland and dark clothing. Rows of seated devotees in orange robes, some with shaved heads and white tilak markings and rudraksha malas, sit on red cushioned mats facing the throne. Women in white and orange sit among them. Golden standing statues flank the arches, which are hung with colourful tassels, and multicoloured paper lanterns hang from the ceiling. A garlanded deity murti sits on a side altar. Some figures are partially visible at the edges.2013-10-13October 13 20132013-10-13
