A large silver-plated Shivalinga stands on a tall platform draped with garlands of marigolds and multicoloured fabric bands in red, yellow, green and purple. Each seated person has a black stone shivalinga on a yoni-shaped base in front of them, with brass pots, lamps, bells and flower offerings arranged on the steps. Some men stand among them in orange and white. Across the water, a tall white shivalinga stands on a raised platform decorated with garlands and bright cloth, with a figure in orange seated near it, and red flags line the railings. A red-brick building and trees rise behind.2017-07-24A large black stone Shivling stands in a water-filled tank at an outdoor ashram, decorated with a multicoloured flower garland arch. A white-clad man in a white dhoti stands at the top beside it, with saffron-robed monks on stairs and tiered red seating behind. Red multistorey buildings rise in the background under an overcast sky. The scene suggests an abhishekam or puja at the Shivling.2013-11-18
