Five flames burn on the lamp's arms, with wisps of smoke rising above. The hand wears a thin bracelet at the wrist. A bright blurred light appears at the top of the frame. No faces are visible, and no clearly identifiable person is shown, so a person is unsure. Only the hand and lamp are visible, and the lamp is an oil lamp rather than a fire pit.2016-12-07May 20 20162016-05-20A brass five-branched aarti lamp with five lit oil lamps and a faint rising trail of incense smoke, held up in front of deep red draped curtains. Behind it, out of focus, a white jasmine garland and a pink flower petal arrangement sit on a tray, with a golden deity murti or ornate altar piece in the background. A partial hand appears at the far left edge. No face is visible.
