A seated figure in a rust-red and saffron dhoti with heavy gold rudraksha-bead necklaces and a swept-back long hair, holding a red fruit, smiles at a woman in an orange and gold silk sari bending forward to receive it. Beside her, a man in a pink-and-white garland and a child stand close. A standing sannyasi in orange robes and rudraksha beads holds a trident, and a bald priest in saffron stands at the right edge beside a wall of yellow and pink flower garlands. Men in white shirts and dhotis stand and sit along the left, and an older woman in a teal sari sits at the lower left.2014-06-21A photograph of a puja ceremony indoors. A man seated on a red cushioned throne at right, wearing a rust-orange cloth, rudraksha mala, a white flower garland and gold earrings, with white ash marks on his forehead, receives a small metal vessel and pours water from a silver pot. Nearby, a young boy in orange and gold dress and rudraksha beads holds out his hands. Other attendants in white dhotis and orange garments stand behind, one bending over a silver pot. A deity murti decorated with a multicolour garland sits in an alcove behind them beside a brass oil lamp, and a gold-ornate chair frames the scene.2015-06-03A seated man with long dark hair wears a pink cloth draped over his shoulder and a gold beaded necklace, sitting on an ornate gold-trimmed throne decorated with red cushions and garlands of marigolds and white flowers. Around him, devotees sit on the floor in white, cream and orange clothes; a bald man in white dhoti holds a lit oil lamp toward the throne, and a woman in a green-bordered sari holds a small oil lamp in front of her. Several women with folded hands and vermilion dots watch from the right, and a window with grey curtains and a pale pink wall forms the background. This appears to be a satsang-type gathering with aarti being offered to the seated figure.2010-12-26June 19 20132013-06-19
