In the foreground a bare-chested man in saffron-orange dhoti kneels on the white tiled floor with a rudraksha mala around his neck and white tilak on his forehead, bowing his head toward a seated woman in a red-and-orange sari with a long rudraksha mala and vibhuti marks, who holds betel leaves and a small offering. Beside them a woman in a green and red sari with gold jewellery sits holding a silver plate of betel leaves and an oil lamp is nearby. Beside him, a shaved-headed priest in orange robes and a rudraksha mala sits with a sacred ash mark on his forehead, and two standing women in white saris, one holding a brown bag and papers, watch. Behind them stand a red curtain and brass oil lamps. Illuminated by stage lighting, the scene suggests a ritual offering. The seated figure appears to be Swamiji (probable), with turban, swept-back hair, rudraksha malas and ornate gold-bead necklaces as distinguishing cues.2015-10-12A seated figure in a rust-red and gold-bordered robe with a gold-and-red turban, a long brown beaded mala draped over the chest, and gold earrings holds out a hand while an older man with white hair, wearing an orange shawl over a saffron-orange robe, bends forward to touch or receive something from the seated figure's hand. Behind them a woman in white with a red-and-brown shawl stands near a brown leather chair, and several women and onlookers stand in the background. A red and white patterned cloth covers the floor, and gold-framed chairs and a framed picture are visible in the room.2014-03-18November 06 20132013-11-06
