July 05 20152015-07-05November 24 20152015-11-24A photograph inside a covered hall with a green-and-white striped floor mat. At center, a smiling man in a maroon-red dhoti and shawl with broad saffron-gold borders wears a red turban, a long gold necklace and a large gold pendant, and a rudraksha-style bead mala. Around him, several men in similar maroon and saffron-bordered robes stand or walk, some wearing rudraksha malas and gold garlands. A younger man at left wears a white dhoti with a gold border, a red sash and a rudraksha mala. Another man at right in saffron-trimmed robe holds a blue notebook. Hanging orange-and-red decorations and a potted tree are visible overhead, with a gold ceremonial object at the back.2015-09-15 +1 copiesA photograph of a ceremony in front of red drapery and large green banana-leaf plants. In the centre, a smiling man wears a saffron-orange turban, a thick gold-and-yellow garland, a large gold pendant, and a rudraksha mala, with a saffron-orange robe. Probable Swamiji: the turban, ornate gold necklace and rudraksha cues fit the figure in the centre, so the in-person label applies. Beside him stands a shaven-headed man in a red-and-gold robe with a rudraksha mala and vibhuti marks. At the far left, a bare-chested man in a shawl sits with a garland. At the lower left a seated man wears a garland and white dhoti. At the right edge a bare-chested man holds a flower garland.2015-10-18September 15 20152015-09-15Outdoor procession scene at a temple-like courtyard with a red carpet. In the centre, a man in a rust-red and gold-bordered garment wears a red-orange turban and a heavy gold chain, holding a small orange-gold cloth bundle in his hands. Beside him, a bald man in a rust-red dhoti with gold borders and a rudraksha mala stands smiling. Behind them, several men in white dhotis with gold borders wear rudraksha malas and red-orange garlands. Young boys in orange and saffron garments with gold borders and rudraksha malas stand nearby, and a few bystanders in white shirts and dhotis watch from the background. Tents, chairs and a parked car appear behind the crowd.2015-07-25Indoor event in a hall with a white floor runner and overhead lights. On the right, a seated man with long grey hair and beard, wearing orange robes, a yellow forehead marking and a dark rudraksha mala, sits on an orange cushioned throne-like seat. Before him, a man in orange kneels. Two men in maroon turbans and maroon-and-gold robes stand left, one with a gold armband and beaded necklace, the other gesturing toward the seated figure. Behind them, devotees in white and orange clothing stand and sit. A colourful painted pillar and a framed picture appear on the walls.2015-10-18A procession walks along a red carpet under a tented pavilion with tan and white draping and stacked chairs. In the foreground, a smiling man in a dark red-orange dhoti and shawl with gold borders, a red turban, and a thick gold-beaded necklace walks forward, a red-and-gold cord visible at his waist. Behind him, several men in saffron-orange robes with gold borders and rudraksha malas follow, along with men in white dhotis and red-orange shawls, and a few women in saffron saris and a child in the background. Tie colours to owners: the lead figure wears the turban and gold necklace; others wear plain white or saffron garments. Strong appearance cues on the lead figure (red turban, gold necklace, saffron-gold attire) are consistent with a person candidate in a ceremonial procession, though the image is not conclusive.2015-07-25July 05 20152015-07-05 +2 copiesNight procession scene on a sandy ground with warm lamplight and strong shadows. A woman in a red-orange turban, gold-beaded necklace, gold armband and red-and-gold saffron draped garment stands centre-left, facing right, with a faint smile. Beside her to the right, a bald man in saffron-orange robes with a gold-bordered cloth over his shoulder and a rudraksha mala presses his palms together at his chest. Behind them, other devotees in red and orange robes and a woman in a green sari stand with palms joined. Several people in the foreground are seen from behind, and a man in white shirt with a lanyard stands at right. The page does not identify who the centre figure is from appearance; the cues are a turban, gold necklace and saffron clothing, but identity is not established.2015-11-16July 05 20152015-07-05 +2 copiesDecember 22 20152015-12-22
