A dim indoor hall with a bare white wall, a ceiling fan and a dark wooden shrine arch. Above a small altar hangs a framed portrait labelled with a name, showing a figure in a yellow-orange head covering and robe seated on a cushion. Five people sit on the floor in front of the altar. In the centre, a bearded man in white ritual clothes and an orange-red shawl sits with hands folded in front of the portrait. Two seated men in white shirts face the altar on the left and right, a woman in orange clothing sits in the middle left, and a person in white sits at far left. Behind the stage stands an ornate altar with a framed portrait labelled Paramahamsa Nithyananda in orange and gold, gilded deity murti, brass lamps and a tall standing statue. A pedestal fan sits to the side. A man in a long orange robe with long dark hair sits on an orange armchair with a microphone on a stand, apparently speaking. Behind him hangs a framed painted portrait of a robed figure in orange seated under a tree, with a garland. A small white podium holds a vase of pink flowers. Audience members in white clothes sit cross-legged on orange mats on the left, and women in white, pink and orange saris and a girl with a braid sit on the right. A white standing fan and a white board stand on the right side, with water bottles on the floor.Indoor satsang hall with a seated figure on a gold-and-red throne (peetha) at the front, wearing a saffron/orange robe and with long dark hair falling loose. Devotees in white ritual clothes, many with saffron/orange shawls, sit on white mats in rows facing the throne; some women wear red and white saris. A microphone stand stands in front of the throne. Behind is a large framed photograph and a dark curtain; green and silver tinsel decorations hang at the right, and a ceiling fan is visible. The candidate seated figure has long hair, a saffron robe, and a gold throne, but the cues are not distinctive enough to confirm identity, so the appearance is uncertain.2007-02-24A seated man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala and a headband sits on a raised dais with hands folded in greeting, a microphone stand in front of him. Behind him is a white armchair draped with white covers and a zebra-print cushion, flanked by brass lamps with bird finials. A framed painted portrait of a woman in orange with a long garland hangs on the wall. Several men in white and light shirts sit cross-legged on the floor in rows, some with hands joined, facing the dais. A man in the right foreground, partly blurred, is photographed close to the lens. A small statue or figure sits beside the chair. The setting is a plain hall with a chalkboard on an easel.2011-04-17August 03 20042004-08-03March 19 20082008-03-19
