A stage ceremony on a red and multicoloured woven runner. At centre, a figure with long dark hair and a red-orange garment sits on a raised seat, wearing a white flower garland, while a large canopy with garland decorations of yellow, red and white flowers rises behind. Around him, about ten people stand and move in white dhotis and white or gold-bordered saris, some with folded hands in namaskar. A woman in a pink blouse and yellow sari holds a brass lamp near the seat, and a man in a grey-lavender kurta stands at left. Stage lights hang above a glowing red backdrop.2016-12-23December 12 20162016-12-12December 22 20172017-12-22December 12 20162016-12-12May 03 20162016-05-03December 01 20162016-12-01 +1 copiesA photograph of a ceremonial stage set against a magenta backdrop with red curtains and stage lights. A large golden throne-like seat with a dark ornate canopy and garlands stands at the centre, where a bearded man with long dark hair and an orange garment sits in front of it. Rows of seated devotees in white, red, pink, and green clothes face the stage on striped cushions. In the foreground, two women with long dark hair, wearing orange-and-gold wraps and bangles, stand with their backs to the camera, one holding a small brass bell. A video camera operator is at the right edge. The scene suggests a devotional gathering or puja on stage.2016-12-12December 23 20162016-12-23January 13 20152015-01-13A blurred evening scene inside a decorated tent with a dark red curtain backdrop and striped hanging banners. Several dancers face away from the camera, arms raised in a dance gesture: in the foreground, a figure in orange silk wrapped with gold borders and a red shawl, and another in white dhoti-style cloth with gold bands. A child in white with a red shawl stands at right, and performers in orange and white stand at left. Behind them are silver-decorated seats and a pink-clad figure. No clearly identifiable a person appearance is established, so the figures are described by role only.2015-09-11
