January 03 20162016-01-03A stage ceremony on a red and multicoloured woven runner. At centre, a figure with long dark hair and a red-orange garment sits on a raised seat, wearing a white flower garland, while a large canopy with garland decorations of yellow, red and white flowers rises behind. Around him, about ten people stand and move in white dhotis and white or gold-bordered saris, some with folded hands in namaskar. A woman in a pink blouse and yellow sari holds a brass lamp near the seat, and a man in a grey-lavender kurta stands at left. Stage lights hang above a glowing red backdrop.2016-12-23February 27 20162016-02-27 +1 copiesPhotograph of a devotee gathering on a red carpet before a raised golden throne draped with a white and zebra-striped cloth and backed by a large floral garland in red, yellow, purple and white. A figure seated on the throne wears saffron clothing, a long gold-beaded necklace and a bindi-style forehead mark, with long hair swept back, and holds a trident-like staff. Around him, several people in saffron robes with gold borders and white dhotis stand with palms pressed together in namaste; a woman in a saffron blouse and an older woman in white attend the scene. Video camera equipment is visible at the left and a large mural of stylised figures stands behind the stage.2013-03-10December 27 20062006-12-27December 23 20162016-12-23 +1 copiesA seated figure on a gold-and-red throne with long dark hair, a white flower garland and a multicoloured garland, wearing an orange cloth, hands extended to accept a folded paper from a man in a white shirt who kneels with palms joined. Nearby, a shaved-headed man in orange cloth and a white-clad man wearing a rudraksha mala and gold-bordered dhoti stand on a red carpet under a red tent. Women in cream and white saris with red-bordered shawls stand in the background, and a stack of printed booklets lies on the gold throne arm. The scene reads as a darshan line inside a tent, with a gold lion-headed armrest in the foreground.2016-05-02Photo of a ceremonial darshan on a raised gold-framed throne draped with white and pink flower garlands, set before a large orange-toned backdrop of tree roots. A central figure seated on the throne wears an orange robe and a long white garland with red and green flowers. Devotees in white and cream clothes, one in a green shawl and one in an orange sari, approach and reach toward him, some with hands folded. A young girl in a white top and orange skirt kneels at the throne's edge. A man in a white shirt and a man in camouflage trousers stand nearby, and a seated woman wears an orange sari at left. Two cooling units stand at the sides and a camera is visible at the bottom. Seated figure identity is not established from appearance; the seated figure is recorded as a candidate only.2009-08-08September 20 20152015-09-20July 07 20092009-07-07A stage event photograph in a hall with a painted backdrop of a large red rose, swirling vine motifs and scattered red petals.
