January 06 20132013-01-06A photograph of a smiling man seated on a golden throne-like chair in front of a large arch of marigold and red rose garlands in yellow, orange, purple and green. He wears a pink turban, a white shawl over saffron-orange garments, layered gold necklaces and a red floral garland, and holds a bouquet of pink flowers. In the foreground a man in white clothing leans forward to offer him a greeting or garland, and a hand holding a small vessel appears at the left edge. Several gold and red ritual objects surround the throne.2013-01-06January 06 20132013-01-06A seated man in a gold jewelled crown with a purple turban wrap smiles broadly while holding a long gold ceremonial staff. He wears a brown and gold-embroidered garment, a long red-and-white flower garland, and multiple gold necklaces and bangles. Behind him is a large backdrop of densely arranged garlands in red, yellow, green, purple and white flowers. In the foreground at left, a bald elder in an orange robe with a white flower garland bows with folded hands toward him. The seated man has distinctive ornate regalia and crown cues, so he is a person candidate in an in-person setting.2015-04-28A photograph of a seated figure on a throne-like seat decorated with a dense, arched backdrop of multicoloured flower garlands in red, yellow, purple, white and green. The central figure wears an orange-brown garment, a long gold chain with pendant, a pink and white flower garland, and a white forehead marking; long swept-back hair and gold bangles are visible. A man in a white shirt and wristwatch reaches up to touch or bless the seated figure's head, while a bald man in white with a white forehead marking sits at the left edge holding a golden ceremonial staff. A gilded ornamental canopy with a decorated top appears above. The figure sits before a floral backdrop arranged in concentric arcs of yellow, red, purple and white blossoms. Two devotees are present: a woman in the lower left with a hand raised near her face, and a bald older man in a white shirt on the right holding a long cane-like stick and offering a gift. Swamiji (probable) is identified by the turban, ornate gold jewellery and garland of flowers, indicating the figure appears to be receiving bhiksha during Guru Purnima. The seated figure is smiling. A small brass lamp hangs at the top right.2013-07-22July 22 20132013-07-22January 06 20132013-01-06January 13 20152015-01-13A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gold throne heaped with flower petals and garlands in red, pink, yellow and white. The seated figure wears a tall ornate gold crown, an orange-saffron garment and a garland, and smiles while a man in a cream-coloured kurta at left, holding a white woven basket, offers something. A purple and white decorated backdrop with gold trim surrounds the throne. The figure has long hair and a red bindi, with distinctive crown and saffron cues, so this is a person in a ceremonial puja setting, with the throne and floral decoration typical of a felicitation or Guru Purnima honour. The page places this at a 2008 Gurupoornima event.2008-07-17January 06 20132013-01-06July 04 20132013-07-04 +2 copies
